Quick answer: a free six-match upgrade for strikers up to 81 OVR
What is the FC 27 Batigol Precision Evolution, who should I use, and which Level 3 option should I pick?
Batigol Precision is a free Evolution for strikers rated 81 or lower. You play two matches per level across three levels, and the card comes out at up to 83 OVR with big shooting and pace upgrades. At Level 3 you choose one path: Tiki Taka (passing) or Press Proven (dribbling and close control). Pick Tiki Taka for a striker who links play, and Press Proven for one who runs at defenders.

Who can go in
The requirements
FUTWIZ lists five requirements for Batigol Precision:
- Overall: 81 or lower
- Position: ST
- Excluded positions: CB, CM and CAM
- PlayStyles: 7 or fewer
- Pace: 85 or lower
The Pace cap is the one that catches people out. A very quick striker above 85 won't qualify, however good the rest of the card is.
Checking a card fast
Open the Batigol Precision page on FUTWIZ to see the requirements next to a list of eligible players. Look a card up on FUTWIZ Players, then test it in the Squad Builder. The game's Evolution screen only offers eligible cards from your Club, so that's the final check.
Many of the cards at the top of FUTWIZ's eligible list are wide players with ST as one of their positions. If you want to use one of those, make sure the game accepts it before you plan around it. [CONFIRM IN GAME: whether a card with ST as an alternate position (not its main position) can enter.]
What your striker becomes
Levels 1 and 2: shooting and pace
FUTWIZ's upgrade table, with the cap for each in brackets:
- Level 1: Overall +6 (83), Sprint Speed +7 (83), Finishing +7 (83), Long Shots +7 (83), Penalties +7 (83).
- Level 2: Acceleration +7 (83), Positioning +7 (84), Shot Power +7 (84), Volleys +7 (84), Stamina +7 (78).
Each level asks you to play 2 matches with the Evo player in your active squad, in Squad Battles on Semi-Pro or above, or in Rush, Rivals, Champions or Live Events.
Level 3: pick one path
Level 3 is a Pathway, so you choose one of two options (FUTWIZ):
- Option 1, Tiki Taka: Vision +7 (82), Free Kick Accuracy +7 (83), Short Passing +7 (82), Long Passing +7 (81), Curve +7 (81), plus the Tiki Taka PlayStyle.
- Option 2, Press Proven: Agility +7 (82), Balance +7 (81), Reactions +7 (82), Ball Control +7 (80), Dribbling +7 (81), plus the Press Proven PlayStyle.
FUTWIZ doesn't make it clear whether either PlayStyle arrives as the standard version or PlayStyle+, so check the Level 3 screen. [CONFIRM IN GAME: standard PlayStyle or PlayStyle+ for Tiki Taka and Press Proven.]
What's capped
- Overall stops at 83. An 81-rated striker gains only 2, while a 77 or lower gets the full +6.
- Every +7 upgrade has its own cap, so a striker who's already above a cap gains nothing there. The caps are on the FUTWIZ page.
Tiki Taka or Press Proven? How to choose
Pick Tiki Taka if…
EA describes Tiki Taka as a PlayStyle for a player "known for making first-time accurate and short passes". It suits a striker who drops deep, lays the ball off and plays one-twos. Option 1's Vision, Short Passing and Long Passing upgrades back that up, and Free Kick Accuracy and Curve are a bonus if they take your set pieces.
Pick Press Proven if…
EA describes Press Proven as a PlayStyle for a player "known for keeping ball possession under physical pressure from the opponent". It suits a striker who runs at defenders or holds the ball up with their back to goal. Option 2's Agility, Balance, Ball Control and Dribbling upgrades help most on cards that are low in those areas to begin with.
How Pathways work (EA)
EA's FUT Deep Dive says Pathways give Evolutions branching upgrade choices, and not every Evo has them. Preview both options on the Evolution screen before you commit, because you only get one.

What to look for
We don't rank cards with prices or meta scores. Here's a simple way to pick:
- A base OVR of 77 or lower gets the full +6 Overall. Cards from 78 to 81 still qualify, but gain less.
- Pace close to the 85 cap. Sprint Speed and Acceleration both go up by 7 to a cap of 83 (cards above 83 gain nothing there), so a quick striker stays quick.
- A path that fixes a weakness. Low passing points to Tiki Taka; low dribbling or balance points to Press Proven.
- Existing PlayStyles. The Level 3 PlayStyle is added on top, and there's a cap of 7 to get in.
- A card you'll actually start. It's free, so a striker who fits your chemistry beats a "best" card who doesn't.
Example eligible strikers (FUTWIZ, 8 October)
These strikers were on FUTWIZ's eligible list on 8 October, with ST as their main position:
| Player | OVR | PAC | SHO | PAS | DRI | Skill Moves | Weak foot |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Haley | 77 | 77 | 74 | 65 | 73 | 3★ | 3★ |
| Vinas | 76 | 77 | 73 | 64 | 76 | 3★ | 3★ |
| Duah | 73 | 84 | 72 | 58 | 70 | 3★ | 3★ |
| Hwang Hee Chan | 73 | 74 | 74 | 69 | 74 | 3★ | 4★ |
| Zukowski | 72 | 78 | 75 | 63 | 72 | 3★ | 3★ |
They're examples, not a ranking. All five get the full +6 Overall. Check each card on FUTWIZ Players for its PlayStyles and current price, and use the Batigol Precision page's filters to find options from your own league.
Chaining: Nine Duty into Batigol Precision?
If you've just finished Nine Duty, your striker may be a candidate. On paper, Nine Duty tops out at 79 OVR with Acceleration and Sprint Speed capped at 78, which is inside Batigol Precision's 81 OVR and 85 Pace limits. But Nine Duty also adds Gamechanger, so a card that already had 7 PlayStyles would go over the limit.
EA's Evolution Chain Preview lets you preview a player through one Evo and see which Evos may open up afterwards. Use it before you commit to the chain. [CONFIRM IN GAME: Nine Duty → Batigol Precision chain shown in Evolution Chain Preview.]
When an Evolution finishes, the card is free to go into another one. While it's in progress, EA Help says you can't use it in SBCs. Evolution upgrades also don't add to its Gallery Item Score, because the Gallery counts the original item.
