How do I complete the FC 27 Squad Foundations: Ringo Meerveld objectives, and what do I get?
Squad Foundations: Ringo Meerveld is a free objectives campaign with five challenges. They ask for assists with a CAM, matches and wins with Eredivisie or Dutch players in your starting 11, and goals with those players. Each challenge pays an untradeable Gold Players pack, and finishing all five earns Ringo Meerveld, an 83-rated CAM on FUTWIZ's listing.

FUTWIZ lists 100 SP with the reward. At launch, tracker data also listed 100 SP with the fifth challenge, so check the Objectives screen to see whether it's paid once or twice.
The five challenges
FUTWIZ lists these five, with the wording below taken from its objective data. Check the Objectives screen in game for the final wording.
1. Midfield Maestro: CAM assists
Assist 5 goals using a CAM (preferred position only). Reward: 4x 80+ Gold Players Pack.
"Preferred position only" means the player's main position has to be CAM. A midfielder who can only play CAM as an alternative position won't count, even if you play him there.
2. Playmaker: Eredivisie starter matches
Play 5 matches with at least one Eredivisie player in your starting 11. Reward: 4x 81+ Gold Players Pack.
These are matches played, not won, so this one fills up on its own while you work on the others.
3. Winner Mentality: Dutch starter wins
Win 4 matches with at least one Dutch player in your starting 11. Reward: 7x 77+ Gold Players Pack.
4. The Dutch: Dutch player goals
Score 6 goals using a Dutch player. Reward: 7x 80+ Gold Players Pack.
The goals have to come from a Dutch player, so start a Dutch forward or attacking midfielder rather than a Dutch defender.
5. Eredivisie Brilliance: score and assist
Score and assist in 3 separate matches using an Eredivisie player. Reward: 4x 82+ Gold Players Pack.
This is the slowest one. The wording doesn't say whether the goal and the assist have to come from the same player, so the safe read is one Eredivisie player who scores and assists in the same match, three times.
Which modes count
Each challenge says any FUT game mode, so Squad Battles, Rivals and Champions all fit that wording. If you play Rush or friendlies, check your progress after the first match before you rely on them.
How to finish it quickly
One player can cover four challenges
Challenges 2 and 5 need an Eredivisie player, and challenges 3 and 4 need a Dutch player. A Dutch player in the Eredivisie covers all four at once. Put one up front, and add a natural CAM for challenge 1.
A simple plan:
- Start a Dutch Eredivisie attacker and a CAM (preferred position) in the same team.
- Play your usual weekend matches: Champions Finals, Rivals or Squad Battles.
- Feed the Dutch Eredivisie player for goals, and let the CAM pick up assists.
- Keep going until challenge 5 (score and assist in three matches) is done, since it usually finishes last.
Finding the players
Use FUTWIZ Players to filter by league and nation, then test the team in the Squad Builder so chemistry doesn't fall apart. Check Lowest Prices before you buy anyone, because prices change through the weekend and we don't print them.
You don't need expensive cards. The challenges ask for a league or a nation, not a rating.
Rewards and what to check on the tile
The Meerveld card
FUTWIZ lists the final reward as Ringo Meerveld, rated 83, with CAM as his main position and CDM, CM, LM and LW also listed. Like every reward in this campaign, he's untradeable, so he's for your club, not for selling. Look him up on FUTWIZ Players before you decide where he fits.
The packs
Each challenge pays one untradeable pack: two 7-player packs (77+ and 80+) and three 4-player packs (80+, 81+ and 82+). They're untradeable, so their players can't be sold on the market, but they can go into your team or into SBCs. Is Squad Foundations: Ringo Meerveld free?
Yes. It's an objectives campaign: you earn the rewards by playing matches, not by handing in players.
How many challenges are there?
Five. Each pays an untradeable Gold Players pack, and finishing all five earns Ringo Meerveld.
Do Eredivisie and Dutch starters both count?
They count for different challenges. Eredivisie players count for challenges 2 and 5, and Dutch players for 3 and 4. A Dutch player in the Eredivisie counts for all four.
When does it expire?
FUTWIZ's objective data gives Friday 9 October, just before 18:00 BST. Community reporting also describes a window of about a week from Saturday 3 October. The timer on the Objectives screen is the final word.
