FC 27 Destined for Glory Team 2 is live: the pack swap time, confirmed names and the Week 2 Ultimate Gauntlet, Flash Rush and free Evos.
Correct as of 2 Oct 2026, 09:47 BST (Europe/London), before the pack swap
This is the go-live hub for Destined for Glory Team 2. For the full upgrade ladders and the launch-eve name watch, see yesterday's Team 2 prep guide. For how Team 1 went live, see the Team 1 live hub. We'll update this page once the cards are in packs.
Quick answer: Team 2 swaps in tonight
Who is in Destined for Glory Team 2, when does it replace Team 1, and what else goes live in Week 2?
Team 2 is expected to replace Team 1 in packs today, Friday 2 October 2026, at around 18:00 UK time (17:00 UTC). That time comes from third-party calendars and matches the Team 1 drop. EA hasn't posted a clock, so check the content timer in Ultimate Team.
EA has confirmed the squad size: 15 players in each weekly Campaign Squad release. It hasn't published the 15 names. Until the cards are live, every name below is reported, not confirmed.
| Detail | Source | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Team 2 in packs, Fri 2 Oct, ~18:00 UK | Third-party calendars | Verify the in-game timer |
| 15 players per weekly squad | EA Launch Update | Confirmed |
| Team 2 names | Community leak list | Unconfirmed until live |
| Upgrade rules | EA Destined for Glory page | Confirmed |
| Week 2: Ultimate Gauntlet, Flash Rush | EA Destined for Glory page | Confirmed (check Live Events for times) |
| Campaign end | No EA date; "around 9 Oct" is inferred | Verify |
Same upgrades as Team 1
Team 2 uses EA's season-long system. Attackers and midfielders upgrade on combined goals and assists. Defenders and CDMs upgrade on clean sheets. Only 2026/27 domestic league games count, and a player who leaves their club stops upgrading. The full ladders are in the prep guide. We don't repeat them here. To follow each card's progress through the season, use the FUTWIZ Destined for Glory Tracker.
Team 1 keeps upgrading
Team 1 is expected to leave packs at the swap. The Team 1 cards you already own keep earning upgrades all season, because EA tracks the whole domestic season, not just the promo window.
Confirmed Team 2 names
Where things stand this morning
Confirmed so far: none. At 09:20 BST there's no EA post naming Team 2, and no Team 2 cards on FUTWIZ Players. That's normal before a Friday swap.
Verify at publish: after the swap, fill this table from in-game packs and FUTWIZ Players only. Add club and position from the live card. Don't add OVRs from leak posts.
| Player | Club / position (from live card) | Confirmed by |
|---|---|---|
| Refresh after ~18:00 UK | In-game packs + FUTWIZ Players |
How to check a card yourself
- After the swap, open the Store and the pack previews in-game.
- Search each name on FUTWIZ Players. A live Destined for Glory card is confirmation. If the name's missing, it isn't in the pack squad.
- Open the card page to see its current stats and upgrade progress.
- Sketch the fit in Squad Builder before you spend anything.
Leak watch list (community, unconfirmed)
The 15 reported names
A community leak list from late September names these players for Team 2. None of it is EA-confirmed. We list surnames only, as reported. Third-party sites have published "expected ratings" alongside them, but those are guesses until the cards exist, so we don't repeat them.
| Reported name | Status at 09:20 BST |
|---|---|
| Haaland | Unconfirmed |
| Upamecano | Unconfirmed |
| Diani | Unconfirmed |
| Cucurella | Unconfirmed |
| Caicedo | Unconfirmed |
| Gordon | Unconfirmed |
| Mbeumo | Unconfirmed (see note) |
| Lookman | Unconfirmed |
| McKennie | Unconfirmed |
| Maza | Unconfirmed |
| Gosens | Unconfirmed |
| Fernandes | Unconfirmed (see note) |
| Cresswell | Unconfirmed |
| Kiwior | Unconfirmed |
| Nico Paz | Unconfirmed |
Two names to treat with extra care
EA's Launch Update already named Bryan Mbeumo and Matheus Fernandes among the first Destined for Glory items, the Team 1 release. Both surnames appear on the Team 2 leak list too. That could mean second cards, different players with the same surname, or a mistake in the leak. Trust the live card, not the list.
SBC and objective cards
Community reporting says more Destined for Glory items can arrive through SBCs and objectives alongside the pack squad. Nothing official names any for Team 2 yet. Check the SBC and Objectives tabs in-game after the swap. We won't list costs or rewards until they're live.
What "confirmed" means on FUTWIZ
A name moves from this list to the confirmed table only when the card is in packs and live on FUTWIZ Players. Leak posts, screenshots and "expected" ratings don't count.
Week 2 modes (EA)
Ultimate Gauntlet
EA says Week 2 brings the first Ultimate Gauntlet of FC 27. It runs over two rounds, with 10 daily attempts to enter, and play-and-win Objectives for rewards. EA hasn't published round times or reward tables on its news page, so check the Live Events tab. More detail is in the Week 2 Gauntlet hub.
Flash Rush
Destined for Glory has two Rush Events, and EA schedules a themed Flash Rush in the campaign's second week. Look for it in Live Events.
Free Evolutions, Training Camp and badges
EA lists free Evolutions over the two weeks, including one Training Camp Evolution each week, plus an Evolution consumable you can earn in the Ultimate Gauntlet that gives an extra repeat of an existing Evolution. Regular and Premium Destined for Glory Badges come from the Event Objective group. See what's live on FUTWIZ Evolutions.
Same-day Friday calendar
Today is busy. We cover each of these separately:
- FC 26 carryover, wave 1: EA's delivery date is today. See the claim-day guide.
- TOTW Upgrade SBC: FUTWIZ's SBC listing shows the expiry as today at 18:00 UK, around the expected swap, so submit before then (some community trackers say later). See the last-chance guide and check the tile timer.
- Champions Finals: third-party calendars put the first Finals window from 19:00 UK tonight. See the Finals first-weekend playbook and the CQP and Token Store guide.
