FC 27 Destined for Glory Team 1 Live Hub — Squad, Pack Window & What Goes Live 25 Sep

Correct as of 24 Sep 2026 (Europe/London)
Our hub for Destined for Glory Team 1 at worldwide unlock. For live OVRs, pack times and the full 15 players, check FUTWIZ and the game itself. We don't guess at them here. For the season-long upgrade rules, see the prep guide.

Quick answer — Team 1 goes live with worldwide unlock

Who is in FC 27 Destined for Glory Team 1, when does it go live, and which names are EA-confirmed vs leaks?

Destined for Glory starts 25 September 2026. It's the first FUT Campaign after Early Access, and it lands on the same day as worldwide unlock for most platforms (EA Launch Update Pitch Notes, 14 Sep 2026). EA has named five of the first DFG items: cover star Kylian Mbappé (most community votes), Morgan Rogers, Matheus Fernandes, Alexander Isak and Bryan Mbeumo. Each weekly Campaign Squad release has 15 players.

Live upgrades track from 25 September for the entire football season. They're based on real-world domestic league form, with milestones by position. The full explainer is in the Destined for Glory prep guide. The other names doing the rounds are leaks or community reports until FUTWIZ Players and packs confirm them.

What to do: when it goes live, filter for the EA-confirmed names first on Players DB, then track FUTWIZ Players and Lowest Prices.

EA start date 25 Sep + platform unlock clocks

Unlock times: Editions & Release Dates.

Five EA-named items

EA did not publish OVRs, PlayStyles or chem for these items in the Launch Update. Get live card data from FUTWIZ or packs.

15-player Campaign Squad rule

EA says each weekly Campaign Squad release has 15 players. “Team 1” is community shorthand for that first weekly 15, not an EA product name. Five names are EA-confirmed. The rest stay unconfirmed here until the Players DB or packs say otherwise.

Upgrade rules (see the prep guide)

From 25 Sep, DFG upgrades run for the entire football season, based on domestic league performance, with milestones by position. Campaign items also launch with all of their position’s Roles++ unlocked. For the ladders, Roles++ and PlayStyles+, and the prep FAQ, see:

EA-confirmed Team 1 names

How to read the table (no OVRs until they're live)

Use this table for who EA has named and their club, for chem and Squad Builder planning. It's not a guide to OVRs, face stats or prices. Once the live 15 land, we'll add confirmed rows from the Players DB only.

Spelling note: Matheus Fernandes (EA) vs Mateus

EA’s Launch Update spells it “Matheus Fernandes.” Tottenham Hotspur usually spells it “Mateus.” We use EA’s spelling until the in-game name is visible, then we'll match the game.

Check FUTWIZ Players DB and Live Upgrades

What to do: use Players to filter for DFG and Campaign cards, FUTWIZ Players to track upgrades through the season once the items exist, and Lowest Prices before you trade. Plan Roles++ links in Squad Builder once live chem is visible.

Leak and community watch list

Leaks, not EA: every name below comes from leaks or community reports circulating around ~22 Sep 2026. None of them comes from EA's Pitch Notes. Treat them as unofficial until they show up on the FUTWIZ Players DB or in packs.

Remaining pack names circulating

We don't repeat OVR, PlayStyle or upgrade-threshold tables from leak sites. They aren't official.

Reported SBC / objective cards (community)

Community reporting also names Frattesi and Renato Veiga as SBC or objective cards. That's community only: check SBCs and in-game Objectives once they're live. For solutions once they're out, see the SBC solutions hub.

What “confirmed” means on FUTWIZ

On FUTWIZ, a DFG name is confirmed when it appears on the Players DB or in live packs, the store or SBC rewards. A blog reprinting a leaked screenshot doesn't count. Here's how we update this page:

1. The five EA-named players are already confirmed (names only, no OVRs).
2. When a leaked name appears on FUTWIZ or in packs, it moves to the confirmed table.
3. If it doesn't, it stays labelled as a leak or comes off the list.

Go-live timing & what to do on day one

Campaign start vs console/PC unlock

For most platforms, Destined for Glory and worldwide unlock share 25 September 2026. PC worldwide unlock is 24 Sep 23:00 UTC, slightly ahead of regional midnight on console. Treat Friday as the first Campaign day, not a rerun of Early Access content you missed.

When packs usually drop (community pattern)

Community reporting often puts Friday promo packs at around ~6 PM BST / 10 AM PT. That's a community pattern, not a time from EA's Launch Update. Check the in-game content schedule or store timer on the day, and don't plan your coin spending around a guessed time.

Coins / chem prep pointers

• Keep coins and fodder flexible. We don't set coin targets. Price-check on Lowest Prices when SBCs appear.
• Plan chem and Roles++ around the five EA names in Squad Builder once live links are visible.
• Season Pass catch-up for late joiners: Season Pass Level 30.
• Current Team of the Week: TOTW 3 hub.

Team 2 and Week 2

Community expectation ~2 Oct for Team 2 — not an EA date

Community schedules point to a second weekly Campaign Squad around ~2 October. EA’s Launch Update confirms weekly 15-player releases across the campaign, but it doesn't name or date a “Team 2” drop. Treat ~2 Oct as a community expectation until EA or the game confirms it.

Ultimate Gauntlet in Week 2 of DFG (EA)

EA says Ultimate Gauntlet returns during Week 2 of Destined for Glory (two Rounds in Season 1). We haven't listed Gauntlet requirements or rewards here.

FAQ

Which DFG names has EA confirmed?

Five of the first items, in the Launch Update: Kylian Mbappé, Morgan Rogers, Matheus Fernandes, Alexander Isak, Bryan Mbeumo. Mbappé received the most community votes and is the cover star.

Are the full 15 leaked names official?

No. Each weekly Campaign Squad is 15 players (EA). Extra names beyond the five are leaks or community reports until FUTWIZ DB or packs confirm them. Don't treat a full “leaked 15” list as EA-confirmed.

When do DFG upgrades start tracking?

From 25 September 2026, for the entire football season, based on domestic league performance with milestones by position (EA). Details: prep guide and FUTWIZ Players.

What time do DFG packs drop on Friday?

EA has confirmed the campaign start and platform unlock times, but not an exact time for DFG packs. The ~6 PM BST / 10 AM PT figure is a community pattern. Check in-game on the day.

Where should I check live OVRs and prices?

FUTWIZ Players for card data and form tracking, and Lowest Prices for market checks. We don't list OVRs on this page.
