Quick answer: what is FC 27 Season 2?
What is FC 27 Season 2, and what's in it?
Season 2 of FC 27 Ultimate Team is called FC Heritage, a season-long celebration of FUT nostalgia inspired by Hall of FUT (EA). It runs from 22 October to 3 December 2026 (EA). The Standard Ladder ends with Allan Saint-Maximin at Level 30 and the Premium Pass with Marcus Rashford at Level 30, with up to 16 FC Heritage Player Items across both ladders. New this season: the PvP Daily Knockout Tournament, the five-event FC Heritage Circuit, and over 60 new FUT Gallery Sets (EA).

FC Heritage explained
EA says FC Heritage honours community favourites, squad staples and iconic Campaigns from EA SPORTS FC's history. FC Heritage Player Items are inspired by Hall of FUT and give an honourable mention to players behind memorable FUT items and moments, including active favourites building their case for a future place in the Hall.
You earn FC Heritage items and other themed rewards through the Season Pass, Live Events and more (EA).
Season 2 Pass rewards
Standard Ladder
EA names three FC Heritage rewards on the free ladder:
- Botafogo's Allan
- Manchester United's Fridolina Rolfö
- Charlotte FC's Allan Saint-Maximin, at Level 30
Premium Pass
And three on the Premium Pass:
- Abha's Nabil Fekir
- Real Madrid's Athenea
- Manchester United's Marcus Rashford, at Level 30
Other rewards
EA says the ladders also include retro Ultimate Scream shells, themed Evolutions and pack rewards. Across both ladders there are up to 16 FC Heritage Player Items, so there are more Heritage players to come than the six EA has named.
Which level gives what?
EA has only given the level for the two Level 30 items. Other names are going round in community reporting, but we only print what EA or the game confirms. We'll add the full level-by-level ladder once we've checked it in game. Ten new Evolutions arrived with the Season 2 rollover, from Dual Identity to Clinical or Technical?. The FUTWIZ database lists them as free, but EA hasn't said which, if any, are the ladder's themed Evolutions. Our Season 2 Evolutions guide covers all ten, and every Evo is on our Evolutions pages.
Who gets the Premium Pass?
Ultimate Plus Edition includes Premium Passes for Seasons 1 to 5, so you get Season 2's automatically (EA Launch Rewards). Everyone else can upgrade in game. EA says upgrading mid-season unlocks the Premium rewards for levels you've already reached.
Daily Knockout Tournament
The PvP Daily Knockout Tournament is back for FC Heritage (EA). You play other players in knockout competition, and you can compete each week through the season for rewards including an FC Heritage Player Item, coins and untradeable packs.
EA hasn't published the format yet, such as the entry rules, how many wins each reward needs or when it resets each day. Check the event tile in game.
FC Heritage Circuit: all five stages
The FC Heritage Circuit is a connected run of five single-player Live Events (EA). The whole Circuit launched at the start of Season 2, and each stage unlocks as you progress. Rewards include FC Heritage Player Items, coins and untradeable packs.
| Stage | Event | Difficulty |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Kick Off Event | You choose |
| 2 | Ultimate Scream | Semi-Pro |
| 3 | Hall of FUT: Unleashed | Professional |
| 4 | Thunderstruck | World Class |
| 5 | Final Tournament (three rounds) | Professional, then World Class, then a Legendary final |
EA says each stage brings nostalgic opponents. While Ultimate Scream launched as a full two-week campaign on 23 October alongside its Circuit stage, the remaining stage names are Circuit events here and don't tell you when, or whether, those promos return as card campaigns.
Build a squad for the later stages in the FUTWIZ Squad Builder.
FUT Gallery expansion: over 60 new Sets
Season 2 brings the first big expansion of FUT Gallery, with over 60 new Sets (EA). They include new League and Club Sets for MLS, NWSL and the Roshn Saudi League. Submit Sets to grow your Gallery Level and earn new Season 2 rewards.
