FC 27 Season 2 Start Date and Time: What to Claim Before Season 1 Ends
FC 27 Season 2 starts Thu 22 Oct and runs to 3 Dec. EA's season calendar, what resets and what to claim before Season 1 ends.
Correct as of 21 Oct 2026, 09:11 BST (Europe/London)
Season 1: Ones to Watch ends on Thursday 22 October and Season 2 starts the same day. Here's EA's season calendar, what resets, the checklist to run through tonight, and what EA has said about Season 2 so far. We'll update this page on Thursday once Season 2 is live.
Quick answer: Season 2 starts Thursday 22 October
When does FC 27 Season 2 start, and what do I need to do before Season 1 ends?
EA's calendar says Season 1: Ones to Watch runs until Thursday 22 October 2026, and Season 2 runs from 22 October to 3 December 2026. EA gives dates, not a time. Community reporting and the in-game timer point to Season 1 ending at about 08:00 BST on Thursday morning, so treat tonight as your last chance.
When a season ends, your Season Pass reward level and Season Points reset (EA). Before then: claim every reward you've unlocked, apply any Season Pass Evolutions you've earned, and finish the Season 1 objectives you're close on.

The FC 27 season calendar
EA's Launch Rewards page lists all five seasons:
| Season | Dates |
|---|---|
| Season 1: Ones to Watch | 17 September to 22 October 2026 |
| Season 2 | 22 October to 3 December 2026 |
| Season 3 | 3 December 2026 to 14 January 2027 |
| Season 4 | 14 January to 25 February 2027 |
| Season 5 | 25 February to 8 April 2027 |
Season 2 is the first one to run past the clock change. UK clocks go back on Sunday 25 October, so from then on, UK times for Season 2 content will be in GMT.
What time does Season 2 start?
EA hasn't given a time. Community reporting says Season 1 ends at 06:59 UTC on Thursday, which is 07:59 BST, with Season 2 following straight after. That fits the Season 1 timer in game, but it isn't official, so go by the timer on your Season screen. Don't leave anything until Thursday morning.
Before the reset: your Season 1 checklist
1. Claim your Season Pass rewards
Open the Seasonal Track from the FC Hub and select Claim under every reward you've earned (EA Help). Rewards go to the inventory of the mode they're for, so check Ultimate Team, The Grounds or Career Mode afterwards.
EA's help pages say your reward level and Season Points reset at the end of a season. They don't say whether rewards you've unlocked but not claimed are delivered automatically in FC 27, so don't count on it. Claim them tonight.
If you're on the free track and thinking of upgrading, EA says that upgrading to the Premium Pass mid-season unlocks all the Premium rewards for the levels you've already reached. That only helps before Season 1 ends. You can buy it in game with coins or FC Points.
2. Apply your Season Pass Evolutions
The Striker Glow Up and Winger Glow Up Evolutions are both live on our Evolutions list:
Community reporting links them to Season 1 pass levels, but reports differ on how long you have to start them once the season ends. If you've unlocked one, apply it to a player before the reset if you can, and check the Evo's own timer in game.
3. Finish your Season 1 objectives
EA's help pages say Season Objectives run for longer periods during a season, and that you should check each one's expiry in game. So look at the timer on every Season 1 objective group you're working on: if it runs out on Thursday morning, finish it tonight. Check Objectives to see what's still open, and prioritise anything that's one or two matches from done.
4. Use the Season Points you can still earn
At launch, EA said you earn 15 to 100 Season Points per eligible match, depending on result and mode, up to 850 a day, plus SP from objectives. Season Points come from Ultimate Team, The Grounds and Career Mode (EA Help). If you're a few hundred SP from a level, tonight's matches can still get you there. For how the Season 1 track worked, see our Season Pass Level 30 guide.
