What are the new Evolutions in FC 27 Season 2?
Season 2 (FC Heritage, from 22 October) brought ten new Evolutions that run for the season: eight position Evos (Dual Identity, Midfield Roundabout, Flank Masterclass, Corridor Control, Channel Surfer, Composed Stopper, Pamplona Grit and the goalkeeper Evo Line of Sight) and two PlayStyle+ Evos (Glue or Genius and Clinical or Technical?). All ten are listed as free in the FUTWIZ database. A shorter full-back Evo, Side Stopper, has a much tighter window of about a week to start.
EA's Season 2 article confirms "themed Evolutions" are part of the season but doesn't name them. The names, requirements and caps below come from the FUTWIZ database. Check the Evolution tile in game for the exact start-by date and how each one unlocks before you commit a player.

Midfield Evos
Dual Identity
For CAM, CM and CDM cards rated 82 or lower with 84 Pace or less, up to seven PlayStyles and no PlayStyles+. It lifts Overall by 10, to a cap of 85, adds one star of Skill Moves and one of Weak Foot, and asks you to choose between a defensive destroyer and an attacking playmaker route. CB and ST are excluded even as alternative positions.
Midfield Roundabout
For CMs rated 82 or lower with up to seven PlayStyles and no PlayStyles+. It takes the card up to 85 OVR and ends at a "roundabout" with three exits: CM Box-to-Box++, CM Playmaker++ or CM Holding++. Pick the Role++ that fits how you use your midfielder, because you only get one.
Wide Evos
Flank Masterclass
For RM and RW cards rated 82 or lower with 90 Pace or less (CB and CM excluded). Overall goes up by 10, to 85, and you choose one of three paths: assists, skill, or cutting inside to score.
Channel Surfer
The left-sided match for wingers: LM and LW cards rated 80 or lower with 86 Pace or less (ST and LB excluded). Overall goes up by 7, to 83.
Corridor Control
For LB and RB cards rated 80 or lower with 85 Pace or less (CB and CDM excluded). Overall goes up by 10, to 83, with a large pace boost.
Side Stopper (short window)
Also for LB and RB (CB and CDM excluded), rated 81 or lower with 83 Pace or less. Overall goes up by 4, to 83. FUTWIZ showed about a week to start and about two weeks before it expires, far shorter than the others, so check the tile timer.
Defensive and goalkeeper Evos
Composed Stopper
For CBs rated 83 or lower with 82 Pace or less (CDM excluded). Overall goes up by 10, to 85.
Pamplona Grit
For CBs rated 82 or lower with 83 Pace or less (LB and RB excluded). Overall goes up by 8, to 84, built around a tough, physical defender.
Line of Sight
For goalkeepers rated 80 or lower. The FUTWIZ page shows the goalkeeper upgrades under outfield stat labels, so we haven't printed the numbers. Preview the final card on the Evolution screen before you start.
PlayStyle+ Evos
Glue or Genius
For any position, rated 84 or lower, with no PlayStyles+. You choose Press Proven+ or Inventive+.
Clinical or Technical?
For any position, rated 85 or lower, with no PlayStyles+. You choose Finesse Shot+ or Technical+.
Which to do first
This is based on the caps and windows above, not on any meta ranking:
- Side Stopper first if you have an eligible full-back, because it closes soonest.
- The PlayStyle+ Evos (Glue or Genius at 84, Clinical or Technical? at 85) take high-rated cards, so they suit players you've already evolved or upgraded. Remember both need a card with no PlayStyles+ yet.
- The 80-cap Evos (Corridor Control, Channel Surfer, Line of Sight) suit cheaper or untradeable cards from your club.
- The 82 and 83-cap Evos (Dual Identity, Midfield Roundabout, Flank Masterclass, Composed Stopper, Pamplona Grit) are the ones to plan a specific player around, because they end at 84 or 85.

FAQ
When do the FC 27 Season 2 Evolutions end?
FUTWIZ shows about two months for the ten season Evos, and EA says Season 2 runs until 3 December 2026. We haven't confirmed the exact start-by date for each one, so check the tile in game. Side Stopper has a much shorter window.
Are the Season 2 Evolutions free?
The FUTWIZ database lists all of them as free. We haven't confirmed in game whether any is tied to a Season Pass level or objective, so check the tile before you plan around one.
Can I use a player who has already been evolved?
Only if the card still meets the Evo's requirements, such as the Overall, Pace and PlayStyles+ limits. The game checks this when you pick a player.
How many levels does each Evo have?
It varies. Each FUTWIZ Evo page shows the levels and tasks, and the in-game screen is the final word.
