Quick answer: a free RM/RW Training Camp upgrade from 74 OVR to 80 OVR

What is the FC 27 Rise From the Grave Evolution, who can enter, and how do you complete it?

Rise From the Grave is a free Evolution (0 Coins, 0 FC Points) for RM and RW cards rated 74 or lower that do not play CM, with 85 Pace or less, 7 PlayStyles or fewer and no PlayStyles+. Across five Training Camp levels, it lifts a Bronze or Silver right-sided winger up to 80 OVR, raises Acceleration to a cap of 85 and Sprint Speed to a cap of 84, brings Skill Moves and Weak Foot up to a cap of 3★ each, and adds standard PlayStyles up to a cap of 3.

Unlike match-based Evolutions, every level on the FUTWIZ Rise From the Grave tracker lists a Training Camp task rather than Squad Battles or Rivals matches, making it an effortless club-value upgrade for a low-rated winger already sitting in your club.

Rise From the Grave arrived in FUTWIZ's Daily Content for Tuesday 27 October 2026 (evo_id 143). With unlock_before pointing to Thursday 26 November 2026 at 18:00 GMT and a one-month expiry window on the hub, you have plenty of time to pick the right card, though you should always check the live countdown on your in-game Evolution tile.

Who can go in

The six entry requirements

According to the FUTWIZ Rise From the Grave page, any card you enrol must meet six conditions:

  • Overall: Max 74
  • Position: RM or RW
  • Excluded Position: CM
  • Pace: Max 85
  • PlayStyles: Max 7
  • PlayStyles+: Max 0

The in-game description reads: "Some wingers refuse to stay buried. Bring your RM or RW back to life and watch them rise from the grave with monster boosts on the flank."

Two filters shape the pool here:

  1. The 74 OVR ceiling makes this a Silver and Bronze Evolution. Gold Common and Gold Rare cards (75+ OVR) cannot enter, so this path is designed to rescue a Silver or Bronze winger and bring them up to an 80 OVR Gold-level profile.
  2. No CM alternate position. Any wide player who also carries CM on their card is blocked, whereas wingers with LM, LW, CAM, ST, RB or LB alongside RM or RW remain in the database pool.

Main position or alternate?

FUTWIZ's eligible player list for Rise From the Grave includes primary RMs and RWs alongside players whose main position is LM, LW, CAM, ST, RB or LB because they hold RM or RW as an alternate position. Before buying a card specifically for this Evolution, open the selection screen in Ultimate Team to confirm that your chosen alternate-position player is offered in game.

Every level's upgrades and how Training Camp works

Level-by-level breakdown (caps only)

On the FUTWIZ Rise From the Grave page, the tracker prints huge maximum boost numbers (such as +35 or +40) alongside the stat cap in brackets. Those big "+35" and "+40" numbers only describe how much a very low-rated Bronze card would climb to reach the ceiling. For a 72- to 74-rated Silver winger, the number that matters is the cap itself, because on our reading each boosted attribute stops at its individual cap while any stat already at or above that cap keeps its existing value.

Here is what each of the five levels raises your card up to:

LevelAttributes raised (cap)Task listed on FUTWIZ
Level 1Overall raised to a cap of 80, Positioning (cap 79), Vision (cap 76), Agility (cap 83), Composure (cap 78), Skill Moves (cap 3★)Send your Player to Training Camp (0 Days)
Level 2PlayStyle (cap 3), Finishing (cap 77), Crossing (cap 78), Balance (cap 82), Jumping (cap 72)Send your Player to Training Camp (0 Days)
Level 3PlayStyle (cap 3), Shot Power (cap 80), Short Passing (cap 77), Reactions (cap 77), Stamina (cap 80)Send your Player to Training Camp (0 Days)
Level 4Acceleration (cap 85), Long Shots (cap 76), Long Passing (cap 72), Ball Control (cap 82), Strength (cap 68)Send your Player to Training Camp (0 Days)
Level 5Sprint Speed (cap 84), Volleys (cap 70), Curve (cap 78), Dribbling (cap 82), Weak Foot (cap 3★)Send your Player to Training Camp (0 Days)

What to check in game: Training Camp timers and PlayStyle badges

Three details on the web tracker are worth verifying on your console, PC or Companion App screen before you lock a card in:

  1. Zero matches required (Training Camp): Every level in the FUTWIZ database is completed by sending your player to Training Camp rather than playing Squad Battles, Rivals or Rush matches. The FUTWIZ Evolutions hub header summarises the path as "Training Camp 1 Days", whereas each individual level block prints "Send your Player to Training Camp (0 Days)". Check the in-game Training Camp timer when you enrol your player to see whether the five stages complete immediately or take up to 24 hours across the run.
  2. PlayStyle names at Levels 2 and 3: Levels 2 and 3 each grant a standard PlayStyle (capped at 3 base PlayStyles), but the web tracker does not display the specific badge names. Preview Levels 2 and 3 on the in-game Evolution screen to see which two PlayStyles your winger receives, and bear in mind that a card starting with three or more PlayStyles will not gain new badges past the cap of 3.
  3. Previewing existing high stats: If your 74-rated Silver already has 85 Pace or 4★ / 4★ stars, preview the final Level 5 card in game to confirm that existing attributes above the caps remain untouched while lower stats rise to meet the 80 OVR profile.

Who benefits most from Rise From the Grave?

How to pick the right winger from your club

Because Rise From the Grave is free and uses Training Camp rather than match objectives, you don't need to buy a meta card off the Transfer Market to get value from it. Instead, look through the Silver and Bronze wingers already in your club on the FUTWIZ FC 27 Players database with three angles in mind:

  • Low-rated or uneven Silver/Bronze cards gain the most raw stats: A 65- to 72-rated card with Pace in the 70s and Shooting or Dribbling in the 60s absorbs far more of the upgrade to 85 Acceleration, 84 Sprint Speed, 83 Agility, 82 Balance, 82 Ball Control, 82 Dribbling and 80 Shot Power than a 74-rated winger who is already near those marks.
  • 1★ and 2★ Weak Foot or Skill Moves cards get fixed to 3★ / 3★: Level 1 raises Skill Moves up to a cap of 3★ and Level 5 raises Weak Foot up to a cap of 3★. If you have a Silver winger held back by a 1★ or 2★ Weak Foot, Rise From the Grave rounds them up to 3★ / 3★. Conversely, if a card already boasts 4★ or 5★ Skill Moves or Weak Foot, they keep those higher stars while collecting the stat upgrades.
  • Full-backs and strikers with RM/RW alternates: Because RB, LB and ST are not excluded positions, a 74-rated full-back with RM/RW on their card gains attacking and dribbling numbers (79 Positioning, 77 Finishing, 80 Shot Power, 82 Dribbling) that most defensive Evolutions never touch.

Chaining Rise From the Grave into Season 2 and Halloween Evolutions

Because Rise From the Grave finishes at 80 OVR with 85 Acceleration, 84 Sprint Speed and 0 PlayStyles+, the completed card sits neatly inside the paper limits for several higher-tier Evolutions currently live on the FUTWIZ Evolutions hub:

  • Flank Masterclass (Season 2): Requires an RM or RW rated Max 82 OVR (excluding CB and CM) with Max 90 Pace, Max 7 PlayStyles and Max 0 PlayStyles+, upgrading the card to 85 OVR. Because Rise From the Grave also excludes CM and finishes at 80 OVR with 0 PlayStyles+ and 3 PlayStyles, any non-CB winger who completes Rise From the Grave matches those numbers on paper.
  • Wicked Winger (Ultimate Scream Token Store): Requires an RM or RW rated Max 82 OVR, Max 90 Pace, Max 70 Defending, Max 80 Strength and Max 1 PlayStyle+, lifting the player to 85 OVR with a choice of Finesse Shot+, Quick Step+ or Technical+.
  • Clinical or Technical? (Season 2): Accepts any position up to 85 OVR with Max 0 PlayStyles+ and adds Finesse Shot+ or Technical+.

As always with Evolution chains, check the in-game Evolution selection screen before planning a multi-step build to verify that Ultimate Team accepts a completed Training Camp Evolution item into the next path.

How it fits alongside Ultimate Scream and Witching Hour

Rise From the Grave arrived during week one of FC 27 Ultimate Scream, one day after Monday's free midfield path Witching Hour (tracker page) and three weeks after the early-season right-wing upgrade Wing Specialization. While its name fits the Halloween run alongside the Ultimate Scream Token Store Evolutions, EA did not list Rise From the Grave in its 23 October Ultimate Scream web post, so check your in-game Evolutions tab before assuming the finished card counts as an Ultimate Scream item for Ghostly Gallery objectives or the 24 November Beaver Moon boost.

Evolution and Training Camp rules that catch people out

Keep three standard EA Help rules in mind before sending a player to Training Camp (covered in full in our FC 27 Intro to Evolutions guide):

  • Training Camp locks the card while active: While a player is away in an active Training Camp session, you cannot use them in matches or submit them into Squad Building Challenges, and an active Training Camp session cannot be cancelled once started.
  • No SBC submissions mid-Evolution: Even between levels, an in-progress Evolution item cannot be submitted into an SBC until the Evolution is fully completed or expires.
  • Two separate clocks: You must enrol your player before the start-by deadline (4 weeks on the hub, with Daily Content unlock_before set to Thursday 26 November 2026 at 18:00 GMT) and claim all five levels before the 1-month expiry timer runs out.

Frequently asked questions

Is the FC 27 Rise From the Grave Evolution free?

Yes. FUTWIZ's Daily Content feed and Evolutions database list Rise From the Grave as completely free (0 Coins and 0 FC Points).

Do you have to play matches to complete Rise From the Grave?

In the FUTWIZ database, every level is listed as a Training Camp step rather than a match objective. All five levels show "Send your Player to Training Camp (0 Days)" on the level table, while the Evolutions hub header displays "Training Camp 1 Days". Check the in-game Training Camp screen (or the Web and Companion App) when enrolling your winger to confirm that no matches are required and check the exact countdown for each level.

Why does Rise From the Grave show +35 and +40 stat boosts on the tracker?

Those figures represent the maximum possible gain for a very low-rated Bronze card, and every boost stops at its individual stat cap. For a 74-rated Silver winger, your card rises up to the caps shown in brackets, including 80 OVR, 85 Acceleration, 84 Sprint Speed, 83 Agility, 82 Dribbling, 3★ Skill Moves and 3★ Weak Foot. Preview your player in game before locking them in.

When does the Rise From the Grave Evolution expire?

FUTWIZ's Evolutions hub lists 4 weeks to start and 1 month before expiry, with the Daily Content unlock_before timestamp set to Thursday 26 November 2026 at 18:00 GMT. Always verify the live timer on the Evolution tile inside Ultimate Team.

Why can't my RM or RW enter Rise From the Grave?

Check whether your player has CM as a primary or alternate position, exceeds 74 OVR or 85 Pace, or holds a PlayStyle+. Rise From the Grave blocks any card with CM on its profile, as well as any card rated 75+, with 86+ Pace, 8+ PlayStyles, or 1+ PlayStyles+.
