EA FC 27 TOTW 7 guide: Wednesday 28 October 18:00 GMT release time, Team of the Week 7 contenders, in-form upgrade rules and how to prepare for SBCs.
Correct as of 28 Oct 2026, 09:30 GMT (Europe/London)
EA Sports FC 27 Team of the Week 7 (TOTW 7) is due to go live tonight, Wednesday 28 October 2026, at 18:00 GMT. Below is everything you need before the 6pm UK drop: the GMT release window after the clock change, the players linked in pre-reveal community reporting, why the current 81+ TOTW 1-6 Upgrade SBC will not pay out TOTW 7 cards, and how TOTW 7 interacts with Ones to Watch and Holographic tiers. We will update this guide with the confirmed 23-player table from the FUTWIZ FC 27 Players database as soon as the squad is live; we never print leaked ratings or coin prices.
Quick answer: when does FC 27 TOTW 7 come out and who is rumoured?
What time does TOTW 7 release in FC 27, and which players are expected?
Following the standard weekly Ultimate Team schedule, FC 27 Team of the Week 7 is expected to be revealed and released into packs on Wednesday 28 October 2026 at 18:00 GMT (6pm UK time, following Sunday's switch from BST back to GMT). TOTW 7 replaces TOTW 6 in packs and remains available for seven days until TOTW 8 takes over on Wednesday 4 November 2026 at 18:00 GMT.
Ahead of tonight's official reveal, multiple community reports have linked Kylian Mbappé (ST), Gabriel (CB), Klara Bühl (LM), Georgia Stanway (CDM) and Victor Osimhen (ST) with TOTW 7 spots, while single-source community leaks have also named Sergej Milinković-Savić (CM), Andrej Kramarić (CAM), Dudek (CB), Nicolas Jackson (ST), Mathys Tel (LM) and Leonardo Balerdi (CB). None of those names are confirmed by EA until 18:00 GMT.

FC 27 TOTW 7 release date and time across regions
Because the UK moved from British Summer Time (BST) back to Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) on Sunday 25 October, TOTW 7 is the first Team of the Week of the cycle to drop under GMT. Remember that North America and Europe are briefly out of their usual summer offset until US clocks change in early November, so US Eastern and Pacific release times shift forward by one hour on the clock this week:
- UK (London): Wednesday 28 October 2026 at 18:00 GMT
- Central Europe (Paris / Berlin / Madrid): Wednesday 28 October 2026 at 19:00 CET
- US East Coast (New York): Wednesday 28 October 2026 at 14:00 EDT
- US West Coast (Los Angeles): Wednesday 28 October 2026 at 11:00 PDT
- Brazil (São Paulo): Wednesday 28 October 2026 at 15:00 BRT
- Australia (Sydney): Thursday 29 October 2026 at 05:00 AEDT
Always verify the live pack countdown on the Ultimate Team store screen at 18:00 GMT before opening saved packs.
Pre-reveal community reporting: who is leaked for TOTW 7?
EA has not published the official TOTW 7 graphic yet, and we will replace this section with the verified 23-player table, positions and ratings from the FUTWIZ FC 27 Players database once the squad enters Ultimate Team at 18:00 GMT.
If you are planning your Squad Builder setups or deciding whether to hold packs before tonight's content drop, pre-reveal community reporting splits into two groups of unconfirmed names:
Names reported across multiple community leak accounts
Five players have appeared consistently across separate community reports ahead of tonight's drop:
- Kylian Mbappé (ST)
- Gabriel (CB)
- Klara Bühl (LM)
- Georgia Stanway (CDM)
- Victor Osimhen (ST)
Additional names from single-source community reporting
A further six players have been mentioned in single-source community leak lists:
- Sergej Milinković-Savić (CM)
- Andrej Kramarić (CAM)
- Dudek (CB)
- Nicolas Jackson (ST)
- Mathys Tel (LM)
- Leonardo Balerdi (CB)
Why we don't print leaked ratings before 18:00 GMT
Even when community leak accounts correctly guess several players in the squad, pre-reveal rating graphics are frequently mocked up or contradict one another (for example, community posts circulating this morning already disagree on the overall rating for Leonardo Balerdi). Treat every player listed above as an unverified leak until EA's official reveal goes live and the final in-game attributes land on FUTWIZ FC 27 Players.
What changes in TOTW 7 for Season 2?
The end of the Season 1 TOTW Community Player run
During Season 1, EA ran a six-week TOTW Community Player initiative across TOTW 1 through TOTW 6, adding one community-voted player to each Wednesday squad and concluding last week with Real Madrid winger Yan Diomande (82 OVR).
TOTW 7 is the first Team of the Week released inside Season 2: FC Heritage. EA's Season 2 announcement did not mention a second TOTW Community Player series, so unless EA announces a surprise extension at 18:00 GMT, TOTW 7 will consist entirely of real-world weekend performance selections.
Featured TOTW boosts and PlayStyle+ upgrades
Each week in FC 27, standard Team of the Week inclusions receive an Inform upgrade above their base or previous performance card, while select lower-rated standouts receive a larger Featured-style boost (alongside a PlayStyle+ on headline and Featured items). Once the 23 cards are live on FUTWIZ FC 27 Players, check each player's profile to see which items gained a PlayStyle+ or alternate position.
Holographic tiers: Regular (87 and below) vs Pristine (88 and above)
Under the visual rules confirmed in EA's Launch Update Pitch Notes, every Team of the Week Inform item carries a holographic shell determined by its overall rating:
- 87 OVR and below: Regular holographic finish
- 88 OVR and above: Pristine holographic finish
Ones to Watch tracker watch
If any player holding a live Ones to Watch (OTW) item in FC 27 is selected in tonight's official TOTW 7 squad, that performance-based Inform inclusion triggers the +1 OVR Team of the Week upgrade on their Ones to Watch item. Once the 23-player list is confirmed at 18:00 GMT, cross-check the squad against our FC 27 Ones to Watch Upgrade Tracker.
How to get TOTW 7 cards (and the TOTW 1-6 Upgrade SBC warning)
Once the clock passes 18:00 GMT on Wednesday 28 October 2026, you can pull TOTW 7 cards from:
- Any pack containing Rare Gold Player Items in the Ultimate Team Store, Season 2 Objectives, Rivals rewards, Squad Battles rewards, Champions finals rewards or the Ultimate Scream Token Store.
- The Ultimate Team Transfer Market, where tradeable TOTW 7 pulls can be bought and sold immediately after 18:00 GMT.
Watch out for the 81+ TOTW 1-6 Upgrade SBC pool cap
Before you submit fodder into a Team of the Week Upgrade challenge on the FUTWIZ SBC page, read the exact pack title carefully:
- On Wednesday morning (28 October), the live repeatable upgrade on
/sbcsis the 81+ TOTW 1-6 Upgrade ("Earn a pack containing 1 TOTW Player Item, rated 81 or higher, from TOTW 1 to 6", with 2 days remaining before expiry). - Because that pack is explicitly capped at TOTW 1 to 6, completing or opening an 81+ TOTW 1-6 Upgrade pack after 18:00 GMT tonight still draws only from the first six Team of the Week squads and cannot contain a TOTW 7 player.
- If you want a guaranteed shot at TOTW 7 from an upgrade SBC, wait until EA releases a new TOTW Upgrade challenge whose reward description explicitly includes TOTW 7.
Why TOTW cards remain vital for SBCs and Item Score
Even low-rated Team of the Week pulls carry extra club value during Ultimate Scream:
- Traditional player and icon/hero SBCs on the SBC hub frequently require at least one Team of the Week (Inform) item in their high-rated segments.
- Streamlined SBCs weight rarity alongside overall rating when calculating Item Score, so untradeable TOTW duplicates in your SBC Storage contribute more points than a standard Gold Common or Gold Rare of the same rating.
Frequently asked questions
What time does FC 27 TOTW 7 come out?
FC 27 Team of the Week 7 is expected to go live on Wednesday 28 October 2026 at 18:00 GMT (19:00 CET / 14:00 EDT / 11:00 PDT). Because UK clocks moved back from BST to GMT on Sunday 25 October, 6pm UK time is now 18:00 GMT.
Who is leaked for FC 27 TOTW 7?
Pre-reveal community reporting has linked Kylian Mbappé, Gabriel, Klara Bühl, Georgia Stanway and Victor Osimhen across multiple reports, alongside single-source mentions for Sergej Milinković-Savić, Andrej Kramarić, Dudek, Nicolas Jackson, Mathys Tel and Leonardo Balerdi. None of these players or ratings are confirmed by EA until the official reveal at 18:00 GMT.
Can you pack TOTW 7 from the 81+ TOTW 1-6 Upgrade SBC?
No. The 81+ TOTW 1-6 Upgrade SBC currently active on the FUTWIZ SBC hub only awards items from TOTW 1 to 6, even if you open the pack after TOTW 7 is in packs. Wait for an updated TOTW Upgrade SBC that explicitly lists TOTW 7 in the pack description.
Is there a Community Player in FC 27 TOTW 7?
EA's six-week Season 1 TOTW Community Player series concluded in TOTW 6 with Yan Diomande. EA has not announced a Season 2 Community Player programme, so TOTW 7 is expected to be a standard 23-player performance squad.
How long is TOTW 7 in packs?
TOTW 7 remains in packs for seven days, from Wednesday 28 October 2026 at 18:00 GMT until TOTW 8 replaces it on Wednesday 4 November 2026 at 18:00 GMT.
