FC 27 Creative Crossroads Evolution: Last Chance Before It Expires (Wed 30 Sep)

FC 27 Creative Crossroads Evolution: the paid CAM Evo's requirements, cost and upgrade paths, and whether it was worth running before 30 Sep.

Published Updated By FUTWIZ

Correct as of 29 Sep 2026 (Europe/London)
This is a short last-chance guide, published on Tuesday 29 September 2026. Creative Crossroads is a paid CAM Evolution, and community trackers have it expiring on Wednesday 30 September. Requirements, cost and upgrade paths below come from community reporting, not from an EA announcement, so check the Evolutions tile in Ultimate Team before you spend anything. If the in-game tile disagrees with this page, go with the tile. New to Evos? Start with Intro Evolutions day one.

Expiry: Wednesday 30 September 2026, 17:00 UK (community tracker; verify the end time on the in-game Evolution)
Some trackers quote this as 17:00 GMT, which is 18:00 BST on UK clocks. Don't bank on the extra hour. Aim to finish the three matches by lunchtime on Wednesday 30 September and the exact rollover won't matter.

Quick answer: Creative Crossroads last chance

What is FC 27 Creative Crossroads, what does it cost, and when does it expire?

Creative Crossroads is a paid Evolution for central attacking midfielders (CAMs). You play three short levels, and at Level 3 you pick one of two paths: a distribution path or a scoring path. Community reporting puts the cost at 15,000 coins or 150 FC Points and the expiry at Wednesday 30 September 2026, 17:00 UK. Neither detail appears in an EA announcement, so check both on the Evolutions tile before you pay.

Expiry clock (verify the timer)

A single community tracker lists the end time as Wed 30 Sep, 17:00 GMT. The UK is still on British Summer Time, so that would be 18:00 BST. We're leading with 17:00 UK because it's the earlier, safer deadline. The only clock that counts is the end time shown on the Evolution itself. If you unlock it but haven't finished when the timer runs out, you risk losing the upgrade, so treat the deadline as mid-afternoon on Wednesday 30 September.

Cost: 15k coins or 150 FC Points (community reporting)

Three separate community sources agree on 15,000 coins or 150 FC Points. Paying in coins keeps your FC Points for other things. Paying in points saves coins you might need for SBCs. We don't publish an ROI figure for this Evo, because the value depends on which CAM you put in and which path you pick.

Already know how Evolutions work?

Good. This page doesn't re-explain Pathways or Evolution Chain Preview. For that, read Intro Evolutions day one. EA's FUT Deep Dive Pitch Notes cover the system itself.

Eligibility checklist (verify in-game)

Community reporting lists these requirements. Filter your club against them, then confirm on the Evolution's requirement panel, because EA can tweak a live Evo without warning.

Requirement (community reporting)Check
Position: CAMPrimary position must be CAM
Overall: max 7980+ cards won't qualify
Pace: max 85Quick CAMs can fail this check
PlayStyles: max 7Count the PlayStyles on the card
CDM and ST excludedReported exclusions; one source's requirement text was garbled, so confirm on the tile

Quick filter: open your club, filter to CAM, sort by rating, and work down from 79. If a card passes every line on the in-game requirement panel, it's eligible. You can also browse eligible CAMs in the FUTWIZ Players database and check Evo details on the FUTWIZ Evolutions hub. If the hub disagrees with the game, trust the game.

Three levels and the Level 3 path choice

One match per level: eligible modes (community reporting)

Community reporting describes three levels with one match each. Any of these modes reportedly counts:

  • Squad Battles (minimum Semi-Pro difficulty)
  • Rush
  • Division Rivals
  • Champions
  • Live Events

That makes it roughly three matches in total, which fits easily into the morning of Wednesday 30 September. Squad Battles on Semi-Pro is the lowest-pressure way to do it. If you're already playing Rivals for the round that pays out on Thursday 1 October (see Rivals Thursday claim day), those matches may count at the same time. Check the objective text in-game, and note that the evolving player usually has to be in your starting XI.

Level 3: distribution vs scoring (preview both)

At Level 3, a community guide describes two options:

  • Path A: Classic 10++ / distribution. Leans into playmaking and passing.
  • Path B: Shadow Striker+ / finishing. Leans into late runs and scoring.

We're not calling either path "the meta". It depends on your formation and how you use your CAM:

  • Pick distribution if your CAM mostly feeds a front two or three and rarely shoots.
  • Pick scoring if your CAM arrives in the box, plays as a second striker or shoots a lot from the edge.

Use Evolution Chain Preview in the client to see both outcomes on your card before you commit. The path names come from one community guide, so the in-game labels may differ slightly.

Don't expect a guaranteed final OVR

The final rating and stats depend on the base card and the path you choose. We don't list per-level boosts or a "final OVR" here, because those numbers weren't confirmed by EA and would differ from card to card. The in-game preview shows the real outcome.

Who to put in

Start with CAMs you already own

The best candidate is usually an eligible CAM already in your club, ideally one you'd actually play after the upgrade. That way the cost is the Evo fee plus about three matches, with no market spend on top.

Third-party "best players" lists

Some third-party guides publish example CAMs for this Evo. Treat those as suggestions to check, not recommendations. Eligibility can shift with in-form and rating changes, and we don't quote base-card prices. If you need to buy a base, check live prices on FUTWIZ Lowest Prices and confirm the card passes the in-game requirement panel before you buy.

Fullback Fork ended on 28 September

Community trackers had the free Fullback Fork Pathway Evolution expiring on Mon 28 Sep, 17:00 GMT. If you missed it, don't go looking for it. Put that time into Creative Crossroads instead.

Last-chance checklist (by Wednesday 30 September)

  1. Open the Evolutions tile and confirm Creative Crossroads is still available. Note its end time.
  2. Check the cost (15k coins / 150 FC Points reported) and choose how you'll pay.
  3. Filter your club to CAMs of 79 or below and run each candidate through the requirement panel.
  4. Unlock, then put the player in your starting XI.
  5. Play three matches in an eligible mode, one per level.
  6. Preview both Level 3 paths, then choose.
  7. Finish well before it ends. Aim for early afternoon on Wednesday 30 September.

FAQ

When does Creative Crossroads expire?

Wednesday 30 September 2026. Community trackers give 17:00 GMT (18:00 BST). We say 17:00 UK to be safe. The end time shown in-game is the only authoritative clock.

How much does Creative Crossroads cost?

Community reporting says 15,000 coins or 150 FC Points. Check the price on the Evolution tile before you unlock it.

Can an ST or CDM do this Evolution?

Reportedly not. Community reporting lists the Evo as CAM only, with CDM and ST excluded. Check the requirement panel in-game.

Which Level 3 path is better?

It depends on your team. Choose distribution (Classic 10++) for a creator and scoring (Shadow Striker+) for a CAM who gets into the box. Preview both on your card first. We don't pick a meta path.

Is Fullback Fork still available?

No. Community trackers had it expiring on Mon 28 Sep. As of 29 September, Creative Crossroads was the one still running.

Sources

The expiry time, cost, requirements, level objectives, Level 3 path labels and the Fullback Fork expiry all come from community reporting and third-party trackers. None of it comes from EA. We haven't invented any base OVRs, stat boosts, prices or meta verdicts.
