Hello and Welcome to Team of The Week Predictions for FIFA 23. This is TOTW 14 and it continues to be fodder of the week. There will be some decent players with some good boosts, so let’s hope featured players won’t be just fodder, like last week.
Main problem with choosing this week was Premier League. It was a cup weekend and they don’t count for TOTW, so yeah, PL nearly completely ignored. Most of the focus was on Serie A\Ligue 1 and double matchday in Bundesliga.
Main highlights are: Fullkrug with 2 goals in 2-1 win for Werder over Wolfsburg, 2 goals for Lautaro, 1 goal and 3 assists for Berardi in 5-2 win over Villa. There’s an outside chance for Acuna, who had another great game for Sevilla, but he got IF not so long time ago, so his inclusion is in doubt. There’re always other good players tho! Szoboslai had wonderful game for Leipzig, Hofmann had good performance for Monchengladbach vs Hoffenheim.
Emre Can can actually get a very good card, if he gets included, he can even get Featured TOTW, as we’ve seen last week with Rakitic. Luis Alberto had a wonderful game vs Milan in midweek and not so much on the weekend.
There were 4 good performances from GKs, but I went with Kasper Schmeichel for a great performance for Nice in Ligue 1 and Alex Remiro for his performance vs Real Madrid.
I don’t know how to make this TOTW better, but let’s hope we’ll get some nice surprises that would be worth quite a lot.
