New Year - New Month - New POTM. Let’s discuss POTM for February in Premier League.

Overall few teams did well in this month and mostly I included players from both Manchester Clubs, who sit at 1st and 2nd in table. City cruising through league and 99% winning the league, unless something mystically happens.

Overall, you could include any player from City – and he’ll be deserved. I included Mahrez, as I thought he went on a pretty nice run of games, even tho stats don’t show full picture. 1 goal and 2 assists this month with nice average rating deserve a nominee in my eyes. He’d be (I guess) 90 rated POTM, if he’d be upgraded from his HL card, so it’d be insane RW in Prem. I expect cost to be around the same as Raphinha What IF SBC – so around 450k. I doubt that it’s worth investing in him, as I think he won’t even get a nominee.

Leicester had a good month too, despite losing one game in the end to Arsenal. They won vs Liverpool, Villa and few other decent teams. James Maddison had good month with 2 goals and 2 assists to his name, and he’d be a really good CAM in FUT: 88 rated card. Estimated cost of his SBC would be around 100k, I think. His SIF, which is 86 rated card, costs between 60-50k depends on a console, so I don’t think his POTM would cost anything exceptional.

West Ham United had another great month, only lost versus City and drew to Fulham away, but their new signing Jesse Lingard had an awesome month: 3 goals and 1 assist in 5 games and overall he deserves at least nominee. Maybe he’ll win POTM, but overall I’m all for a better card for JLingz, maybe during What If Promo?. His IF costs 25k, so this POTM would cost around 80k-100k. When I was making prediction for his card – I was surprised how decent it looked. Like Maddison, but a bit cheaper.

Luke Shaw performed amazingly for United this month. Overall he’s having amazing season. It seems like Shaw transformed his game after Telles was signing and it’s good to see Shaw finally performing at his best after few struggles in recent years. He had 3 assists this month and had 2 CS only, but I think he’ll still be nominated and will have a good chance of winning an award. His SBC would be around 200-250k. People are in need of good Prem LB and POTM Shaw would fix this problem for few weeks.

Harry Kane, despite Spurs struggling this month, had a good month before he got injured with 3 goals and 1 assist, so yeah, it’d be another nominee for Kane. I doubt that he’d win, but if he does – he’d get 90 rated card, which would cost around 150k. His 89 is expensive due to it being high rated fodder IF.

Now let’s move to two candidates, who already won POTM awards this season and will have another shout at award.

Ilkay Gundogan. Another great month for Gundo, even tho he stopped scoring closer to the end of the month, but 4 goals and 1 assist still should be enough to be one of favorites for POTM in Premier League. Overall it’s really good to see Gundo performing and not struggling with injuries.

In terms of FUT – he’d have an improved 88 POTM with much better stats than his 86 POTM SBC. So overall it’ll be a really nice, balanced midfield card and would improve his TOTS card for later. It’ll be probably fairly priced card, so why not to vote for Gundo?

Chances of POTM: 30%

Tips for investing:

As previous time – I don’t think anything will rise for Gundo POTM card, so I doubt that it’s worth to invest in anything for him, especially when fodder is so high right now.

Worth investing? As I’ve said above

Estimated cost: 130-170k. His 1st POTM was very fairly priced, around 60k, so I expect twice the value of SBC, because it’d be a very nice card.

Bruno Fernandes. Bruno would win 3rd POTM this month. And you can’t even argue that he deserves it. Bruno scored 4 goals and got 3 assists this month, even comparing him to other nominees – he’s still winning. But yeah, maybe not the most convincing month, but he won December, when he wasn’t favorite, so I can’t say for sure.

In terms of FUT - he’d be another insane, expensive, but crazy good card. He’d be 93 rated card, only 4 behind TOTY, his TOTS going to be insane level, should be higher than TOTY.

Chances of POTM: 40%

Tips for investing:

I’m not sure who and what will rise for Bruno POTM, but he’ll be really meta card. They’ll require a lot of fodder, as previous times, so let’s hope fodder drops a bit before it rises again. Fodders are the easiest investments this year and it sad to see. I can’t even recommend you properly investing, because fodders are just working well.

Worth investing? If fodder will drop - maybe

Estimated cost: 1000k-1500k. Previous POTM was around 800k-900k at the beginning, so I expect a bit more this time. I think they’re pricing him well, so if we’ll get a card under 1300k, and you won’t have any other Bruno card – go for it.

I think Gundogan or Bruno will win it. Honestly I can’t predict here, but we might get J-Lingz, because he’s so popular and he’d be a nice card and cheap SBC.
