Hey guys, it’s Tillian and it’s Marquee Matchups predictions for the another week of FUT.
Last week we got 3\4 and let’s hope it’ll be the same (at least this week). Last week’s selection was really good, first time in few weeks. I’ve went with different La Liga game, but Sevilla vs Real Sociedad choice was good and fine overall.
This week is going to be very hyped. A lot of derbies and choosing 6 games for this article were pretty easy. At least 4 of them, 2 are a bit of wild-guesses, but 4 to me are really likely choices.
Let’s do it:
Liverpool vs Manchester United
What a game it should be, 2nd vs 1st in one of the most hyped games in Premier League. United currently sitting 1st in front of Liverpool by 3 points, Liverpool haven’t lost at home in 3 years, so it’s going to be very close game. We already got Showdown SBC for this game, but as we’ve seen with Ajax vs PSV game can be included in both SBCs. This is the game of choice for bigger pack.
Most likely requirements:
-1 Player per team
-Overall rating of 80
-at least 3 leagues
-Maximum 3 players per league
-at least 2 rare players
-90 chemistry
What to buy : Just players from those teams. Preferably 80 or higher rated cards, and rares would be good choice in my opinion.
Porto vs Benfica
As per usual – best game from Liga NOS and I think it’ll be included anyway. Porto sit 2nd in Portuguese league, while Benfica are 3rd, with no difference in points. Sporting, their main opponent, are first and are first by 4 points, so this is why it’s a must win game for both teams. It’d be important anyway, but positions in table add up some hype to the fixture.
Most likely requirements:
-1 player per team
-Team overall 75+
-Overall Chemistry 80+
-At least 3 rares
-Max players per league: 4
What to invest in: A lot of choices from those teams, so I wouldn’t invest too much in them. Maybe get 1-2 rare per team and that’s all. They might not even require players from Specific teams, so just players from Liga NOS might work as usual.
Inter vs Juventus \ Roma vs Lazio
2 insane games in Serie A. Rome derby and Derby D’Italia. What can I even add: Roma sits 3rd in table, Lazio are 8th but they are separated by 6 points only, so if Lazio wins – it’ll add some spice to race for UCL. Roma is really good this season, and I expect this game being really close despite difference in points. Lazio always perform well vs Roma too lately.
Inter vs Juventus is hyped rivalry, Inter are 2nd and Juve are 4th, separated by 4 points, Juve have game in hand, so they can surpass Inter later, if they’ll win this game and get closer to Milan. This game should be very close, despite Juve performing well vs Inter lately, Inter want to have a revenge and maybe finally win something under Conte, so it’s very important for them too.

-3 player per league
-Overall rating of 79
-At least 3 rares
-At least 3 teams
-90 chemistry
What to invest in: Any players from those 4 teams, be safe, just because they can ignore 1 game and choose another one. So yeah, 1-2 players from each team should be alright and give you and advantage.
Besiktas vs Galatasaray
Big trio of Besiktas, Galatasaray and Fenerbahce are back on top of Turkish League after few years of suffering for different reasons. Besiktas are sitting 1st, Gala are 3rd and separated only by 2 points, I expect this game to be very close and heated matchup as usual in Super Lig. We haven’t seen Super Lig fixture in long time, so it’s a perfect time to include it, as both teams are really close to each other.

-2 player per league
-Overall rating of 70
-At least 3 rares
-At least 3 teams
-90 chemistry
What to invest in: Any players from those teams or Super Lig in general. I don’t think it’ll be something special, so you’ll be safe with players from your club.
Wolfsburg vs Leipzig
2 of the best 3 defenses in the league meet eachother. It’s perfect opportunity for Leipzig to redeem themselves, as they’ve lost to BVB last matchday at home, so if they want to contest a title against struggling lately Bayern – it’s time for them to step up. Wolfsburg had few rough fixtures after New Year, so they want to redeem themselves too (and they lost against BVB too), so it’ll be really close game and I expect very interesting viewing. 6th vs 2nd separated by 6 points too.

-Overall rating of 76
-At least 3 rares
-At least 3 teams
-90 chemistry
What to invest in: Any players from those teams or Bundesliga. I doubt that they’d require any specific teams, so yeah, you’ll be safe.
There are also few other games to highlight, but I don’t think they’ll be included.
