Player of the Month Prediction — December 2025 (Serie A)

Hello and welcome to Serie A Player of the Month Predictions for December. Big month for a lot of teams in Serie A, leading group is still very tight and only 4 points separate 1st from 5th. Inter, Milan, Napoli, Juve and not so much Roma had good month and all should feature at least 1 player in POTM voting.

But I’ll start with someone unexpected, some hero who managed to outscore everyone this month and it was Nikola Vlasic. I know him since his RPL days and it’s cool to see him lighting up Serie A. He scored in every game this month for Torino and managed to get 4 goals and 1 assist in total. Yeah, Torino aren’t the top of the table and they won only 2 out of those 4 games, but without Vlasic goals situation would be way worse. So yeah, Vlasic should get nominated for an award and probably be one of the main candidates for it. Potentially cheap card and some good stats, if EA are generous.

Next up, we’re moving to big dogs. Lautaro Martinez got 3 goals and 1 assist this month and overall was good, Inter won 4 out of 4 games and now are leading in the league after Milan lost 2 points against Sassuolo. Lautaro scored 1 goal in 4-0 win over Como, scored 1 goal and 1 assist in 2-1 win over Genoa and got 1 goal in a win over Atalanta. Should be nominated, has a decent card and potentially decent POTM for 89 rated card.

Speaking about Milan, their Captain America, Cristian Pulisic, got 3 goals this month in 3 games. They had 1 game vs Como being postponed, so only 3 games this month. He scored once in 3-0 win over Verona and got 2 goals in 2-3 comeback vs Torino as he came from the bench and called the game. Pulisic having an amazing season for Milan and already had 1 POTM, so 2nd POTM would be even better card, but probably very expensive one 88 rated card.

Then I’m moving on to another big candidate: Rasmus Hojlund who scored 4 goals this month for Napoli. They had 1 loss against Udinese this month, but in a mean time they won Supercopa, while in Serie A Ramsus scored 2 goals vs Juventus in 2-1 win and also got 2 goals in a win vs Cremonese. Usurpingly he shines in Serie A once again, after rough few years in Manchester United and should be one of the main candidates for an award. He already has an 83 IF and 87 rated Promo card, so I think his POTM will be either 87 or 88 rated card. Shouldn’t be more than 50k, as I doubt many people use him.

Few more options that had good month, but doubt that will be main guys for an award: Scamacca scored 3 goals for Atalanta this month. Overall club is struggling after Gasperini left (it was expected), but still they are sitting 10th and Scamacca brought them 3 points with his goals this month.

Provedel had a decent month for Lazio, as they haven’t lost this month and got 3 draws and 1 win. Made few saves and was named 2 times MOTM. Lazio in bad state because of transfer ban, but still sitting not so far from European Spots. Pretty boring to watch, but still have to mention them.

Juventus won 3 games this month, but I couldn’t find any good candidates. I went with Kalulu who scored 1 goal and got 2CS, but I don’t think he’s the main option for an award. Hard to choose, as different players performed in different games. Still, they lost to Napoli, that’s why I don’t think their player will be a main option for an award.

Overall, I think Vlasic or Hojlund will win an award. Both had sensational showings, but magnitude is different. While Vlasic helping Torino to be mid table team, Hojlund leading Napoli’s attack to another title. Lautaro and Pulisic also need to be nominated. It’ll be close battle.
