Hello and welcome to Premier League Player of the Month Prediction for December 2025. Overall, one of the better months out there and loads of options that should fight for an award and I won’t say there will be undeserved winner.

Let’s start with Hugo Ekitike, who helped Liverpool turn their form around and fired into the net 5 goals this month and also got 1 assist. Quiet game vs Sunderland, but then it all clicked: 2 goals vs Leeds in 3-3 draw, 2 goals in 2-0 win over Brighton, 1 goal vs Tottenham and 1 assist vs Wolves. Overall, huge month from Hugo. He will be nominated, but he will face competition for an award. Potentially 88 rated POTM that should have PS+ and should be pretty expensive for like 120-200k coins in my opinion.

Next option, and probably the main guy for an award – Domenic Calvert-Lewin. Dom helped Leeds to gain a lot of points in a month, where fans thought that it’s all going to be bad, doom and gloom. But Leeds, and especially DCL stood up against the odds. Started with a goal in 3-1 win over Chelsea, continued with a goal against Liverpool in 3-3 draw and then got a goal in 1-1 draw vs Brentford and 2 goals vs Crystal Palace in 4-1 win and finished the month with a goal vs Sunderland in 1-1 draw. They didn’t lose a game and DCL should win an award. Should be 86+ rated POTM with some nice stats, especially since he got cool TOTW. So let’s see how good he’ll be for a price around 50-100k coins.

Of course, I can’t forget City boys and their impressive December: Haaland got 5 goals and 3 assists, while Cherki got 2 goals and 4 assists this month. Foden also got 4 goals and 1 assist this month and he might be nominated too. Good news: I don’t think Haaland wins in a competition vs DCL, bad news: Cherki POTM would be sensational card. But yeah, both might be nominated, Haaland would be 93 rated card, while Cherki should be 87+ rated card. Both would be very expensive, but Cherki would be worth completing IMO.

Next up: Bruno Fernandes got 3 goals and 2 assists for Manchester United in decent month where they lost only 1 game vs mighty Villa. Bruno continued his amazing form, but I don’t think he’ll win an award this month, due to the fact that competition is so rough. But still, Bruno POTM would be fun to see, I think he’ll get it this year anyway because he gets it every year.

Morgan Rogers is a solid option with 4 goals and 1 assist this month, Villa climbed up in table to 3rd place, were unbeaten for 11 games and then lost to Arsenal in 2nd game against them this month. Rogers was crucial for Villa and helped them in nearly every win. Potentially good POTM with some cool stats, don’t think he’d be over 100k too.

And last, but not least: Harry Wilson with 2 goals and 4 assists this month. Good stats, but 1 goal and 2 assists came in 1 game (which is still good). Don’t think he wins an award, but should be at least nominated this month. Fulham climbed up to mid table, before that they were closer to relegation zone. So yeah, loads of progress for them and that should earn him a nomination.

Overall, I think DCL will win an award. I don’t think anyone can challenge that, maybe voting will help Ekitike, but overall I doubt that it’ll matter.
