Hello and welcome to La Liga Player of the Month Predictions for December Month. This month been eventful and we should get a really good POTM or another Mbappe. Overall loads of teams and players performed at very good level and I think we’ll see really close voting.

So yeah, let’s start with Mbappe. One man Army, man who can save Xabi Alonso, who can save Real Madrid season alone. Another great month from superhuman ninja turtle with 4 goals and 1 assist in 4 games. Apart from game vs Celta, which Real Madrid lost – he scored in each game an important goal. 2 goals and 1 assist in 3-0 win vs Athletic Bilbao, 1 goal in 2-1 win over Alaves and 1 goal in 2-0 win over Sevilla. If he wins – it’ll be 3rd POTM already this year in, I think, 4 months. Mad stat. 93 POTM for loads of coins, I still haven’t met players with POTM Mbappe yet, but closer to TOTY we might have a better grind, so expect more Mbappe’s in teams.

Next up we’re moving to Barcelona and I’ll have 2 options from them: 1 is more consistent which is Raphinha, and other is more highlight-ish which is Ferran Torres. First scored 4 goals in 3 separate games. Other scored 4 goals in 2 games, 3 of them came in only game Raphinha didn’t play (3-5 win over Betis). Both can be nominated and both can win an award. Ferran’s POTM would be of course cheaper and overall more popular option. Potentially 87-88 rated POTM with some nice stats and maybe PS+. While Raphinha just got an IF and his potential POTM would be 91 (and maybe CAM as alternate position). I think Raphinha POTM would be very cool and people who completed Yamal POTM can pair him with Rapha.

Then we move on to smaller options in terms of hype, but not in terms of impact. Surprise of the month for me was Espanyol, which won 4 out of 4 games this month and kept 3\4 Clean Sheets. Overall very impressive result for a team that nearly got relegated last season and now are sitting at Champions League Spot. My choice from them would be Marco Dmitrovich, who was crucial in most of their games and kept them safe. Dmitrovic is kinda La Liga underrated but one of the best GKs in the league. Potentially decent 86 rated POTM and cheap one. Bad links, so doubt that many players will vote\complete him, but still!

Then we have Koke, who suddenly scored 2 goals in 2 games for Atletico Madrid. Their longserving player, their captain, continues to impress and play at top level even at 33 years of age. Koke has IF this season and that’s why his potential POTM would be decent 87 rated card, maybe even with PS+, but cheap one. I don’t think he has many chances of winning an award, but still it’s possible, but Atletico lost 2\4 games this month.

Last 2 options are Williot Swedberg from Celta, who scored 3 goals this month: 2 vs Real Madrid and 1 vs Athletic in 2-1 win. He should be nominated and his potential POTM is cool one, as he has one really good IF. So yeah, potentially 88 rated POTM and cheap one. Last option is Vedat Muriqi from Mallorca who scored also 3 goals this month. Overall not as cool POTM, but still has a chance for decent 86 rated POTM.

I think Raphinha or Mbappe will win an award. I don’t think neither is undeserved, but Swedberg one would be cool too. Raphinha overall better pick as an SBC, but Mbappe in stronger position.
