Neymar back in FC26? The Brazilian League Returning to Ultimate Team
It has been months since Neymar Jr made his emotional return to Santos FC, but for fans of EA Sports FC, there has been one major problem: the lack of a Brazilian League license.
That is all about to change.
With the latest rumors pointing toward a fully licensed Brazilian League in EA Sports FC 26, we are finally getting the card we’ve been waiting for.
The FC Mobile Evidence: License Confirmed?
The biggest hint dropped this week when FC Mobile officially added Brazilian giants like Botafogo and Bahia to the game. Historically, EA uses its mobile platform to test new league licenses before bringing them to the console.
For fans who have spent months watching Neymar dominate at the Vila Belmiro without being able to use him in Ultimate Team, this is the news of the year. It confirms that EA is finally working with the Brazilian clubs again, paving the way for a fully licensed Neymar card in FC 26.
Who else could be added?
- Coutinho
- Depay
- Lucas Moura
- Hulk
- Alex Sandro
- Alex Telles
- Willian
These are just some popular names for the FC people but this would also include the addition of hundreds of more in the Brazilian League.
How a Brazilian League Return Would Change the Meta?
The addition of the Brazilian League would be the biggest shake-up to squad building this year.
- Chemistry Hybrids: Brazilian players are already the most popular in the game. Adding a whole league of them allows for incredible hybrid teams with the Premier League, La Liga, and the Saudi Pro League.
- Cheap Beasts: Historically, the Brazilian league was the home of high-pace, high-agility silver and gold cards which could be insane for EVOs.
- New Promo Opportunities: Promos like the FC Mobile Ginga would include the next Brazilian wonderkids currently playing in South America.
Verdict: Will it Happen?
While EA has not officially confirmed the full license for FC 26 console, the evidence is mounting. Between the FC Mobile Ginga promo and the high-profile transfers happening in Brazil, the stage is set for a historic return.
