FIFA 22 Team of the Week Prediction: Week 3
3rd week of FUT 22 is here and TOTW looking a bit average, not going to lie.
I’ll call last Sunday – “Red Wedding” Sunday because all favorites and leaders lost in their leagues: PSG, Bayern, Ajax, Benfica, even Zenit lost in Russian league. It was really a bit insane, in terms of results and obviously it affected TOTW. Not in a good way too.
There’re not many highlights even from Premier League, as: United drew to Everton, City and Liverpool played exciting draw, but I can’t include Salah for that game. Chelsea’s best player was silver. Arsenal drew, Spurs won! I’ve went with Hojberg from Spurs as it seemed like the best choice, but Son is always a possibility, even tho less likely. There’re some other good performances in Prem: Hwang scored 2 goals for Wolves vs Newcastle and many of people expect Featured TOTW for him.
In La Liga – Atletico won vs Barca and I thought Lemar was the best player on the pitch. Some people may be interested in his central IF (if he gets one). Danjuma played well in UCL and now played well in La Liga. He scored 2 goals for Villarreal against Real Betis and he should get an IF.
Some amazing performances in Bundesliga: Trapp had an insane game vs Bayern and got POTW from Kicker. Surely an IF. Embolo had a good game against Wolfsburg, scored a bicycle kick and also got an assist (got 1 on Kicker too). There’s a chance for Schick from Bayer, as he went and scored 2 goals.
In Ligue 1 – Rennes won vs PSG and Tait or Laborde should get it. Both got 8 on L’equipe. I went with Tait, as I needed a midfielder. Jonathan David scored 2 for Lille vs Marseille. Tchouameni was the best player for Monaco in 3-0 win over Bordeaux, even tho Golovin and Ben Yedder both have a chance.
There’re a lot of good performances in other leagues with 3 and more goals, for example Fassnacht from Young Boys, Mitrovic from Fulham, and a lot of Silvers.
From Serie A I went with Tonali from Milan for a great performance vs Atalanta and 1 scored goal, but last minute changed it to Theo who got nearly same mark and got 1 assist for Milan in same game. Barrow from Bologna had a great game vs Lazio with 1 goal and 2 assists.
