Quick answer — how to unlock OTW Savinho

How do you unlock the free FC 27 Ones to Watch Savinho card from the Ones We Watched objectives?

Complete the Ones We Watched Single Player Live Event challenge chain, then claim the Ones We Watched Challenge Completionist group reward. Community / EA-adjacent coverage reports that Completionist awards an untradeable OTW Savinho (also searched as Savio) after you finish the Semi-Pro → Professional → World Class → Legendary challenge set.

EA confirms Ones We Watched as Season 1’s opening Single Player Live Event series. You choose the difficulty for the opening stage, then face tougher Ones We Watched–inspired AI and tighter squad rules as you go. EA doesn't name Savinho on the Season 1 page, so treat the free card as community-reported and checked against live Objectives, not something EA has promised.

Complete the Ones We Watched challenge set / Completionist group

The order most starter guides use:

  1. Open Live Events → Ones We Watched in the full game client.
  2. Clear the Kick Off Challenge (the opening stage; EA lets you pick the difficulty).
  3. Work through Semi-Pro, Professional, World Class, and Legendary challenges.
  4. Claim Ones We Watched Challenge Completionist when the group requirements tick green.

Kick Off is usually worth doing first for packs and practice, but community trackers generally tie Completionist to Semi-Pro through Legendary, not Kick Off alone. Check the live group text.

What you get (untradeable OTW; check live)

Community guides describe the Completionist player reward as untradeable OTW Savinho / Savio. Side rewards along the way (coins, Season Points, packs, Foundations players) vary from guide to guide and can change, so don't count on any coin total, SP total or pack name.

Once you've claimed him, open his card on the FUTWIZ Players DB, drop him into Squad Builder and track Tottenham's form on FUTWIZ Players.

What to do: unlock Savinho, open his FUTWIZ player page, add him in Squad Builder and track Tottenham's form on Live Upgrades.

Before you play a match

Early access timing (PC vs console)

Ones We Watched matches need the game client. You can't play Live Event fixtures on the Web App or Companion alone.

Worldwide — other platforms25 Sep 2026, 00:00 regional

UK readers (Europe/London, BST / UTC+1): PC early access is 00:00 BST on 18 Sep; console early access is regional midnight 18 Sep. Standard Edition players run the same path after worldwide unlock.

Start an Intro Evolution so your games count twice

Before Kick Off match one:

  1. Open Evolutions and start an available Intro / Training Camp path if one is live (names change).
  2. Put the Evolution player in your starting XI for Ones We Watched, so Live Event games count towards the Evolution.
  3. Shortlist candidates on FUTWIZ Evolutions before you spend coins on a dead-end project.

Community starter routes often pair Intro Evolution progress with the Ones We Watched grind, so one offline session moves both along. Check the live Evolution requirements rather than relying on remembered game counts.

League and Foundations: check the live screen

Early Access also brings Squad Foundations, Challenge/Upgrade SBCs and league-themed starters. Some useful habits:

  • Pick a league pairing you can link cheaply when the client asks (the exact options are in the game; we haven't guessed them here).
  • Keep cheap Spanish, Serie A and Premier League golds ready. Community objective text keeps asking for those nations and leagues in Ones We Watched Starting XIs.
  • Price-check fillers on Lowest Prices and solve Foundations in-game via SBCs once you have client access.

Foundations can run alongside Ones We Watched, but Streamlined and Foundations submissions have to wait for the game while the apps lack SBCs at launch (see below).

The Ones We Watched route (check live objectives)

Based on partial and community data. The challenge names below match EA’s Live Event structure plus community objective trackers. Exact play, win, assist and score numbers, squad rules, coin totals and pack rewards come from third-party guides, so check every line in your Objectives menu before you commit. Published “17-game” routes are third-party estimates, not something EA promises.

Kick Off Challenge

Opening stage (EA): choose your own difficulty and play selected clubs from around the world.

Commonly reported tasks (community; check in-game): play a few Kick Off matches, win at least once, and record assists across separate matches. Side packs and coins vary by guide.

Use Kick Off to settle your chemistry, start your Intro Evolution and stock up on cheap fodder before the difficulty rises.

Semi-Pro Challenge (squad rules)

Commonly reported (community; check in-game):

  • Field at least one Spanish player in the Starting XI
  • Play the required Semi-Pro fixtures (guides usually quote a short play count)
  • Win at least once and bank assist objectives as listed in-game

Completionist trackers usually count Semi-Pro as the first required step.

Professional Challenge

Commonly reported (community; check in-game):

  • Field at least one Serie A player in the Starting XI
  • A longer block than Semi-Pro (community guides often mention scoring across several separate matches, plus at least one win)

Sort out Serie A chemistry before you queue. One cheap Serie A starter is enough if he stays in the XI.

World Class Challenge

Commonly reported (community; check in-game):

  • Field one Spanish and one Premier League player in the Starting XI (a Spanish Premier League player can cover both links)
  • Play the listed World Class fixtures; win at least once
  • Finesse-goal objectives across separate matches (easy to misread, so check whether it's “two finesse goals in each of several matches” or “two in total”)

This is where the AI gets tougher. Upgrade your XI with packs from earlier Live Events before you take on Legendary.

Legendary Challenge

Commonly reported (community; check in-game):

  • Win a full set of Legendary Live Event matches (guides usually say four wins)
  • Hit the listed goal total across those games

Legendary is the real test of skill, and there's no easier setting to fall back on. Build the best squad you can from Kick Off to World Class rewards, Foundations players and market fillers first.

Completionist reward — OTW Savinho

Community and third-party objective trackers say Ones We Watched Challenge Completionist means completing Semi-Pro, Professional, World Class and Legendary. Community coverage reports the headline player reward as OTW Savinho / Savio (untradeable).

Also reported along the way (subject to change, not guaranteed): Completionist coin milestones for each difficulty, Season Points, Foundations players and various untradeable packs. Check the live rewards before you plan around coins.

When the item lands:

  1. Open Savinho on the FUTWIZ Players DB (search Savinho / Savio / Ones to Watch).
  2. Check PlayStyles, Role++, and chem links before you rebuild the club around him.
  3. Note Tottenham domestic fixtures for Wins to Watch from 18 Sep 2026.

What you can vs cannot do on Web App / Companion

Club setup possible; SBCs may be unavailable on apps at launch

On the Web App / Companion at launch you can still:

  • Shop the transfer market for Spanish / Serie A / Premier League fillers
  • Set club name, badge, kits, and plan a skeleton XI
  • Open packs already in the club and organise consumables

You can't complete SBCs, including Foundations and Streamlined submissions, on the apps at launch, according to community / EA-adjacent reporting. EA’s Launch Update confirms Streamlined SBCs on console/PC at launch, intended for Companion later in Season 1 (no exact date).

Watch out: some starter guides still suggest you can finish Foundations SBCs on Web/Companion before the game is installed. Go by the live app menus and EA’s platform note. If your app shows SBCs after a patch, follow the app. Our no-SBC advice is correct as of 19 Sep 2026, based on community reporting, and may change.

Live Event matches need the full game

Ones We Watched is a Single Player Live Event. Matches need console or PC Ultimate Team. You can't play from Kick Off to Legendary on a browser or phone.

The plan: use the Web App for market and club prep, the early-access client for Evolutions, Foundations SBCs and Ones We Watched, then claim Savinho in Objectives.

After you unlock Savinho

How OTW upgrades work (performance + Wins to Watch)

From EA’s Season 1 Ones to Watch FAQ:

PathRule
Performance+1 OVR each time Savinho receives a qualifying TOTW, Star Performer, or POTM item in FC 27 FUT
Wins to WatchOne-time +1 if Tottenham win 3 of their next 6 domestic league matches from 18 Sep 2026
Must he play?No for Wins to Watch — club results count even if he is unused
Upgrade size+1 OVR at a time — the card does not copy the highest special’s full stats
Season scopePerformance upgrades track the 2026/27 domestic season (can continue after Season 1 ends 22 Oct)

Transfer caveat (EA): if he moves clubs before Wins to Watch applies, he loses that bonus. Trust FUTWIZ Players over rumours.

Watch out: some third-party trackers publish an 8 Oct start for club wins. That conflicts with EA’s 18 Sep window, so go with EA.

Fit him in Squad Builder

Savinho is a pacey right-sided option for early clubs. Check his exact OVR and PlayStyles on the live card page.

  1. Load your XI in Squad Builder.
  2. Lock Savinho at RW / RM / ST depending on Role++ on the item.
  3. Build Spanish / Premier League / Serie A links you already used for Live Event squad rules so chemistry stays cheap.
  4. Cross-check alternatives on Lowest Prices if you also want a tradeable backup RW.

Track upgrades on Live Upgrades

Bookmark FUTWIZ Players for:

  • Wins to Watch progress for Tottenham from 18 Sep
  • Performance +1 flags after TOTW / Star Performer / POTM drops
  • Transfer / loan eligibility changes

For the full Season 1 picture, see FUTWIZ’s Ones to Watch tracker guide once it's live. Same upgrade rules, with every OTW club listed.

FAQ

Is Savinho tradeable?

Community objective guides say no: the Ones We Watched Completionist reward is untradeable. Check the item when you claim it. EA also lists other ways to earn OTWs (Season Pass, select SBCs and Objectives), and any market copies that turn up later are a separate route. Don't assume you can sell the free objective card.

How long do the objectives last?

Season 1: Ones to Watch runs 17 Sep – 22 Oct 2026 (EA). The Ones We Watched Live Events sit inside that window, and community trackers describe a countdown of about a month. Trust the in-game timer over any date printed here.

What if Legendary is too hard?

Honest options:

  • Finish Kick Off to World Class first, so packs and Foundations players raise your squad rating before Legendary.
  • Buy cheap chemistry upgrades via Lowest Prices rather than taking on Legendary with a patchwork bronze team.
  • Don't force it in one session. Legendary can wait a day while you finish Intro Evolutions and Foundations.
  • No reliable community source says you can skip Legendary and still get Savinho. Completionist trackers require the Legendary challenge. If the live text ever changes, follow Objectives over this FAQ.

The Season 1 window, Ones We Watched as Single Player Live Events, Wins to Watch rules, launch timeline and Streamlined SBC platform notes are checked against EA's Season 1 Ones to Watch page (16 Sep 2026) and the Launch Update Pitch Notes (14 Sep 2026). The free OTW Savinho via Completionist, the exact challenge requirements and the untradeable reward come from community / EA-adjacent reporting. If anything has changed since 19 Sep 2026, check live Objectives, the apps and EA's channels.
