EA SPORTS have hinted on a major return in EAFC 25 for a trio of cards that are seen as cult heroes on Ultimate Team. With FUT Birthday right around the corner, fans the game across the years and are lead to believe that the promo and EA SPORTS’s message on X could lead to a reunion of three of the most iconic cards in Ultimate Team history.
On X today, , EASPORTSFC’s official account replied Bateson87’s post from 2015 expressing his love for Ibarbo, someone who’s FIFA 15 base card is still spoken about to this day. In reply to this post, EASPORTSFC’s official account said this:
This reply has led players to believe that the return of Roma’s FIFA 15 trio of Ibarbo, Doumbia and Gervinho could be right around the corner. The flags in post are of the same nations of the three former Roma players (Ivory Coast for Doumbia, Ivory Coast for Gervinho and Columbia for Ibarbo.
10 years ago, in Ultimate Team during FIFA 15, the Roma front three were some of the most sought after cards on the cards and were featured in people’s teams are year round (something which is hard to believe would happen nowadays!)
The high pace of the three attackers and the way that old chemistry work (green links for the same club would provide them with instant high chemistry), Ibarbo, Doumbia and Gervinho were menaces to face in games.Although nothing has been officially confirmed, this cryptic reply for EA Sports has heavily hinted that we can expect to see the trio back in the game soon. Suitably, it’s FUT Birthday right around the corner which makes for a perfect time to relive some old memories, especially considering it’s 10 years on! FUT Birthday in Ultimate Team is set to arrive at 6 pm on Friday the 7th of March.
