Gameweek 16 Lineup Predictions and FPL Tips

It’s time for gameweek 16 of the Premier League, with all 20 teams featuring in games from Saturday to Monday. Liverpool remain top of the table even after the Merseyside derby against Everton last week was postponed. There are some exciting games upcoming, including the Manchester Derby on Sunday afternoon. Before that all gets started though, we’re going to give you our lineup predictions for every team and hand out some tips for FPL as well

Arsenal vs Everton (K.O Saturday 3 pm)

Arsenal’s predicted lineup:

Everton’s predicted lineup:

FPL Tips

Arsenal players are expensive, but they almost guarantee points. Someone who we expect to start is Jurrien Timber (£5.7m), who is relatively cheap. As for their opponents Everton, they face a really tough run of fixtures for a while now, so we’d recommend not bringing in any of their players for a while.

Liverpool vs Fulham (K.O Saturday 3 pm)

Liverpool’s predicted lineup:

Fulham’s predicted lineup:

FPL Tips

For Liverpool, the obvious recommendation is Player of the Month Mohamed Salah (£13.3m), but he is quite expensive. A cheaper option may be Luis Diaz, who is priced at £7.4m. After this gameweek, Fulham have a few fixtures where there’s lots of potential of points to be picked up, so we recommend waiting one more week before bringing in some of their key players.

Newcastle vs Leicester (K.O Saturday 3 pm)

Newcastle’s predicted lineup:

Leicester’s predicted lineup:

FPL Tips

Alexander Isak (£8.6m) is back on form as he’s provided three goal contributions in his last two games. There is a high chance he could score highly in this game also. Now for Leicester, four of their next five games are extremely tough, so it’ll be best to transfer their players out.

Wolves vs Ipswich (K.O Saturday 3 pm)

Wolves’ predicted lineup:

Ipswich’s predicted lineup:

FPL Tips

The next two games for Wolves could be crucial for their season. One man who should have a big impact in these games is Matheus Cunha, who is priced at £7.1m. This is also a massive game for Ipswich, who are fighting to move out of the relegation zone. They’ll be relying on the top scorer for the Tractor Boys Liam Delap (£5.6m) to score some goals for them in this game.

Nottingham Forest vs Aston Villa (K.O Saturday 5:30 pm)

Nottingham Forest’s predicted lineup:

Aston Villa’s predicted lineup:

FPL Tips

Chris Wood (£6.5m) was back amongst the goals against Manchester United, which led to an eight-point gameweek last time out. He’ll be hoping to score again when Forest face Villa at the City Ground. Aston Villa have won their last two games which makes their FPL assets more appealing again. Someone who plays most weeks and is cheap is Ezri Konsa (£4.4m).

Brighton vs Crystal Palace (K.O Sunday 2 pm)

Brighton’s predicted lineup:

Crystal Palace’s predicted lineup:

FPL Tips

Pervis Estupinan (£5.1m) consistently plays for Brighton and last week grabbed an assist. We believe he’ll start again in this fixture, so there’s plenty of potential for more points to be scored. For Crystal Palace, Maxence Lacroix (£4.5m) has been scoring highly over the last couple of weeks. He also plays very regularly for the Eagles.

Manchester City vs Manchester United (K.O Sunday 4:30 pm)

Manchester City’s predicted lineup:

Manchester United’s predicted lineup:

FPL Tips

With the form that both of these teams are on, it’s very hard to recommend players. For Manchester City, Bernardo Silva (£6.3m) has scored 13 points in. the last two weeks which is quite impressive. For Manchester United, Bruno Fernandes has scored highly on multiple occasions this season and he is placed at a decent price of £8.5m.

Chelsea vs Brentford (K.O Sunday 7 pm)

Chelsea’s predicted lineup:

Brentford’s predicted lineup:

FPL Tips

Just like last week, we’re going to keep recommending bringing in Enzo Fernandez. He’s priced at an amazing £5.0m, he hasn’t scored lower than four points since gameweek 10, and Chelsea have an easier run of fixtures compared to most. The main point-scorer for Brentford continues to be Bryan Mbeumo (£7.6m). He’s scored 96 points so far this season.

Southampton vs Tottenham (K.O Sunday 7 pm)

Southampton’s predicted lineup:

Tottenham’s predicted lineup:

FPL Tips

We still wouldn’t recommend playing Southampton players in your team. However, Joe Lumley is starting every week in goal for the Saints and he is priced at just £4.0m, which is great for the bench. Dejan Julusevski’s (£6.3m) form has impressed many this season, and he continued this by scoring against Chelsea and in the Europa League midweek.

Bournemouth vs West Ham (K.O Monday 8 pm)

Bournemouth’s predicted lineup:

West Ham’s predicted lineup:

FPL Tips

Bournemouth’s Illia Zabarnyi (£4.4m) has scored 10 points across the last two gameweeks. There is a lot of potential that he can maintain this in gameweek 16. As for West Ham, they won their last game against Wolves 2-1, so they’ll be hoping to keep this run going. Jarrod Bowen (£7.4m) scored and assisted in that game which makes him a decent choice for your midfield in FPL.
