Hello and welcome to Team of the Week Predictions for Week 17. Another hard TOTW to choose, as there’s no Bundesliga and La Liga yet, so had to manage with that I had.
Most choices would be from PL: 2 LBs provided winning assists in their games: Kerkez and Maatsen, Bruno was great for Newcastle vs Spurs, Mbeumo continues his amazing season with 2g1a in 5-0 destruction of Southampton, Haland back in business with 2 goals against West Ham and Raul Jimenez scored 2 goals in 2-2 draw vs Ipswich. Was a fun game. Have to mention also Martinez for his amazing goal in 2-2 draw vs Liverpool.
Jude Bellingham carried Real to victory in their delayed game vs Valencia, with scoring 95th minute winner. In Liga F Ewa Pajor scored 3 goals and got 1 assist in 6-0 destruction of Real Sociedad, also there are few more choices from that League, like Caicedo and Salon for their performances in retrospective wins.
In Serie A I have to mention Alexis Saelsmakers in a Rome derby with 1 goal and 1 assist, David Neres with his performance in 3-0 win for Napoli.
In Ligue 1 Rognier performed well for Marseille in their 5-1 win, they are only 7 points behind PSG! Also Lucas Perri for Lyon played well in 1-0 win against bottom side Montpellier.
Overall, not the worst TOTW with a lot of headliners, but I expect a lot of random names due to low amount of games. We shall see!
