EAFC 25: Premier League Player of The Month Predictions - December

Hello and Welcome to POTM Predictions for Premier League for December. Festive period kinda over, we had a lot of games this month and few players performed out of their minds. Liverpool solidified their 1st spot and cruising in league, Arsenal continues the chase and Nottingham Forest is 3rd. Wait what? Yeah, Forest having mad season and I bet their fans are very happy. City continues their downfall, while Spurs and Manchester United continue their struggling season.

Let’s start with a favorite and a winner of November Player of the Month Award: Mohammed Salah. He continues his magic season and he broke another records this month. He managed to get whooping 7 goals and 7 assists in 6 games. Yeah, 14 contributions in 6 games: 1g1a vs City, 2g1a vs Newcastle in 3-3 draw, 1 assist in 2-2 draw vs Fulham, 2g2a vs Spurs in 6-3 win, 1g in 3-1 win over Leicester, 1g2a vs West Ham in 5-0 win. So yeah, he’ll win another POTM too, I think there’s no doubt. He’ll be 91 rated, should be 92, but doubt. 91 POTM would be around 400-500k coins. EA should bring possible upgrades for people who completed previous POTMs for like 100k more or so. Would be fair.

Another contender for POTM is Alexander Isak. Newcastle’s striker managed to get 7 goals and 2 assists this month and would be great candidate, if there wasn’t Salah with his records. Isak scored vs Liverpool, Brentford, Leicester, Ipswich (3 goals), Aston Villa and Manchester United. Newcastle risen from midtable with 4 wins and 1 draw and 1 loss this month and Isak one of the main reasons for that. Overall, he managed to get an IF this month, so his potential POTM would be 88 rated POTM, close to his Thunderstruck card. Doubt that he’d be worth more than 100k coins IMO.

I have to mention Forest and their run of 5 wins in a row this month. Antony Elanga would be my choice with 3 goals and 1 assist. Forest only lost to City at the start of the month and then beaten: Manchester United, Villa, Brentford, Spurs and Everton. Elanga continues to impress along side other players and Nunu doing fantastic job coaching them. Elanga should be around 85-86 rating and would worth around 40-50k with some nice dribbling stats.

Dean Huijsen from Bournemouth would be my 4th choice. Young CB from Bournemouth managed to get 2 goals vs Manchester United and Spurs and also was very good over the rest of the games. Young CB continues to impress after his transfer from Juventus, while Juventus continues their search for CB who would replace Bremer. Dean got an IF this month and his potential POTM would be 86-87 card with some nice stats. He’d be worth around 60k I think.

Matheus Cunha had a good month again with 3 goals and 1 assist and Wolves changed their manager. He scored 1 goal vs Ipswich, got 1 goal vs Leicester in 3-0 win and got 1 goal and 1 assist in 2-0 win over Manchester United. Cunha having very good season in struggling Wolves side, but I think they won’t be relegated. Cunha would be 88 rated POTM with some great stats overall.

Declan Rice would be my choice from Arsenal. Declan had a very very good month. He got 1g and 2a over the month and was named MOTM on several occasions. Rice had massive game vs Crystal Palace, was great vs Manchester United and was fantastic vs Fulham. Overall, their draws aren’t on him at all. If he wins POTM he’d be 89 or so rated. Great card, but there’s better WW card for him.

Overall, of course Salah will be winning an award. There’s nearly 0 doubt. Isak also had great month and it might get close, if they wouldn’t want to give Salah 2 in a row.
