Maresca's Chelsea are stylistically a high pressing, possession dominant team. They have an emphasis on playing out from the back, and having great ball players at every position. They sit in a 4-2-3-1 out of possession, with a 3-2-5 or 3-box-3 in possession.
I do want to reiterate, this formation is NOT a plug and play, instant win kind of formation UNLESS you already emphasise a lot of passing and movement in your FC 25 game.
It requires patience, and vision of gaps opening, as well as understanding that we don't need to be 4-0 up in 15 minutes as nice as that would be every game.
It will help build your fundamental skills, and have you in good stead regardless of any META that comes and goes.
