Hi my name is Sam known as SJM5, I’ve been given the opportunity to write articles for FUTWIZ about Trading, Tips and Looking at future promos, looking forward to this year and to share with you guys my opinion on what is going to happen and what you could do to prepare throughout the year. If you want to follow my Twitter or Twitch for when I stream or tweet about FIFA the links are here:  https://twitter.com/SJM5__ & twitch.tv/sjm5_

Early Access/ Web App is a crucial part of the Fifa cycle, it is the start of the year in FUT meaning everyone is at the same point where they don’t have many players or coins, if you concentrate on 3 main aspects to earn coins in this period of time it will help you have a good start to FUT 20 and will boost your coins to build the team you want.

Trading

The main part I would say of the early access and the web app is trading, this will influence what coins you have massively. Trading in this period of time you want quick flips meaning that you always have coins at your disposal to invest more, especially on PS because it is the first year with EA Access the market will be very volatile market meaning player prices will rise and fall a lot this is because of the lack of supply at the stage of the game and prices are very much determined by the demand of the cards.

What I recommend for the start of trading is to stick with 2 of the main types of cards, SBC fodder and meta Premier League players; this is because they are the most in demand cards and have limited options. For example the advanced SBCs, they come out from day one and have one of the highest returns of investment and are one of the most lucrative ways of making coins, this means a lot of demand for the specific cards that you need to complete the SBCs. There are two nations that are always high in demand for this type of SBC and they are Brazil and Argentina since they have a lot of gold cards spread across a lot of different leagues which are useful for SBCs, now in some positions these nations lack options and makes specific cards very demanded. For Brazil positions that I like the look of is LM/LW and GK for Brazil, this is because you are limited to 4 leagues in both positions however if you need 11 leagues in the squad it could even be more limited, keeping these type of players on you transfer target list to watch the price is very useful to see how the price changes over the first few days and try and pick some up when they are low compared to other times you’ve seen the price I always go 10% under my sell price I’m aiming to get meaning I cover the 5% tax when you sell cards, another way to try and pick up these cards are by bids, bidding at the start of the game on these types of cards are very useful because you might get a card for half the price he is worth.

The other type of card I always trade with at the start is Premier League meta cards, this is because it’s the most demanded league in the game, similar reason because of the lack of supply and the high demand the price of these players do fluctuate a lot, one area that I look at is defence and wingers, this is because these are the areas which have the most limited amount meta cards that you can  use, for example CBs in the Premier League I can see 3 cards that are around the 80 rated mark that stand out for me Ake, Bailly and Gomez because these cards have a substantial boost of pace compared to the other options and will be very demanded, keeping a track on the prices of these type of cards is very important because when they drop in price from what you have seen before they are guaranteed to rise again because they are so demanded, sniping the panic listings are very useful because they are a guarantee sell so if you are patient and keep an eye on maybe about 10 Premier League players that are meta and keep rotating on the transfer target list at the card you are looking and you should be able to pick up some deals. Now I always recommend selling when you get some profit on early access and don’t be greedy this is because what coins you get you can re-invest the coins to other players this is because you are limited with what coins you have meaning keeping an investment for 3 days could mean you lose out on a lot of deals and will make you less money, for example if you invest 5k into one player and he makes you 2.5k over 3 days you could use that 5k for 15 investments over the 3 days and make 10% profit each time will make you 20k, it would only take 4 investments at a 10% profit to pass the 2.5k in 3 days.

One last tip for investing sell EVERYTHING in your club including bronze players training items etc if you won’t be using them in SBCs this will maximise your coins to use and will help you to boost your coins.

SBCs

SBCs are huge at the start of the game because the advanced SBCs are some of the best value for coins SBCs there is in a year and highly recommend trying to complete these early on, however make sure you are getting the players you need at the lowest price, try and bid on them for a while or go back later on if they are up in price because at the start it is all about saving coins, one thing I recommend I recommend is to go for more obscure nations and league where there is less demands meaning less competition which could return with more profit because you are spending less. I always start at the more difficult SBCs to work out who you need to save for them because of needing loyalty where they get extra chemistry boost, because of this it will also save you time not needing to gain loyalty later on.

Objectives

This year Objectives are very crucial since there is no catalogue it means you acquire coin boosts from objectives meaning that you have to grind to unlock the coin boost which are very useful to boosting your coin total, what I would recommend is do everything outside of playing games first, do as many SBCs as you can, Trade and do the objectives outside of playing games, and once you have fully ran out of coins or you need more coins to invest then start grinding the games to unlock the coin boost, when you are playing games what team you use is important, I recommend to spend at the most 10k at the start after getting your investments, this is because the more you spend on a team you have less coins for investments, alternatively you can use your short term investments in games to save even more coins and will allow you to spread your investments even further.

FIFA 20 Objectives

I hope you these tips help you make the coins you need to build your first FIFA 20 squad. That's all for this time, I'll be back in a couple of days with the next articles in this series which will look at some starter squad options to get you ready for when you finally take to the field!
