Arsenal: 11/11
Aston Villa: 10/11
Bournemouth: 11/11
Brentford: 8/11
Brighton: 9/11
Chelsea: 10/11
Crystal Palace: 8/11
Everton: 11/11
Fulham: 10/11
Ipswich: 9/11
Leicester: 10/11
Liverpool: 11/11
Manchester City: 6/11
Manchester United: 8/11
Newcastle: 9/11
Nottingham Forest: 5/11
Southampton: 8/11
Tottenham: 10/11
West Ham: 10/11
Wolves: 10/11
184/220 players guessed correctly. This isn’t the best result, so we’ll look to improve this next week! Now, let’s take a look at our predicted lineups for week five:
West Ham vs Chelsea (K.O 12:30 pm Saturday)
West Ham’s predicted lineup:
Chelsea’s predicted lineup:
FPL Tips
Bowen (£7.5m) has been very consistent in FPL this season. He’s scored 18 points in his last three games. After a 15-point score last week, Sanchez (£4.5m) is a great option as a goalkeeper as he is cheap with lots of potential for clean sheet points.
Aston Villa vs Wolves (K.O 3 pm Saturday)
Aston Villa’s predicted lineup:
Wolves’ predicted lineup:
FPL Tips
Now at £8.9m, Watkins is back on scoring form, and he has a nice run of fixtures coming up. After a goal and an assist in the last two games, Lemina (£5.0m) could be a differential option for your squad.
Fulham vs Newcastle (K.O 3 pm Saturday)
Fulham’s predicted lineup:
Newcastle’s predicted lineup:
FPL Tips
With Muniz looking like he’s injured, a start for Jimenez (£5.4m) may be in order, which is a straight and cheaper replacement. Similarly to Fulham, Newcastle are without their key striker (Isak), meaning they will rotate their squad. Harvey Barnes (£6.4m) could be someone who the Magpies could start.
Leicester vs Everton (K.O 3 pm Saturday)
Leicester’s predicted lineup:
Everton’s predicted lineup:
FPL Tips
If Edouard starts for Leicester over Jamie Vardy, he’s a cheap striker option at £5.4m. Everton winger Dwight McNeil (£5.4m) has scored 22 points this season. He has three goal contributions in his last two games.
Liverpool vs Bournemouth (K.O 3 pm Saturday)
Liverpool’s predicted lineup:
Bournemouth’s predicted lineup:
FPL Tips
If Alisson is injured and Kelleher (£4.4m) does start, this is an obvious transfer and we would highly recommend it! Liverpool may get caught out on the counter, so picking a Bournemouth attacker such as Semenyo (£5.6m) is your best chance of a points return.
Southampton vs Ipswich (K.O 3 pm Saturday)
Southampton’s predicted lineup:
Ipswich’s predicted lineup:
FPL Tips
After making seven saves against Manchester United, Ramsdale (£4.4m) is a cheap starting goalkeeper with the potential to score you lots of saves points. The same can be said for Ipswich goalkeeper Muric who is the exact same price!
Tottenham vs Brentford (K.O 3 pm Saturday)
Tottenham’s predicted lineup:
Brentford’s predicted lineup:
FPL Tips
Brennan Johnson (£6.4m) came off the bench to score midweek. We think he’s likely to start so it’s not a bad shout for your FPL team. New signing Fabio Carvalho is expected to start for Brentford on Saturday. His price tag is £4.8m so this would be a low risk option.
Crystal Palace vs Manchester United (K.O 5:30 pm Saturday)
Crystal Palace’s predicted lineup:
Manchester United’s predicted lineup:
FPL Tips
Mateta (£7.4m) scored twice against Leicester last time out. If he continues with this form, he’ll score lots of points for your team. De Ligt bagged himself a 15-point game last week which was very beneficial for players who owned him. He is someone who is a potential player to bring in, especially at a reasonable price of £5.0m.
Brighton vs Nottingham Forest (K.O 2 pm Sunday)
Brighton’s predicted lineup:
Nottingham Forest’s predicted lineup:
FPL Tips
If Brighton can keep another clean sheet this week, then either van Hecke or Dunk are great choices at £4.5m. Still undefeated, Nottingham Forest have only conceded twice this season. We’d suggest looking at some of their defensive assets like goalkeeper Matz Sels (£4.5m).
Manchester City vs Arsenal (K.O 4:30 pm Sunday)
Manchester City’s predicted lineup:
Arsenal’s predicted lineup:
FPL Tips
If you haven’t got Haaland in your squad by now, do it! However, if you can’t afford him, a City asset like Akanji (£5.5m) can bring you clean sheet points. Finally, Gabriel scored 15 points last week and Arsenal’s defence is extremely strong. At £6.0m, he is expensive for a defender, but the points return across the whole season will be worth it.
