INTRODUCING TEAM FUTWIZ, FUTWIZ TY
We’re excited to be able to announce the creation of our FIFA eSports team – Team FUTWIZ. Primarily competing in FUT Champions and offline events across the world, this is a step we have been wanting to make for many years and we’re delighted to be able to finally make the move into eSports.
Joining the team as our first signing is one of the top players in the world, Ty Walton – a multiple UK champion with 4 FIWC Grand Final appearances already to his name. Formerly of Team Dignitas, the Aston Villa fan has represented the UK at the FIFA Interactive World Cup, Electronic Sports World Cup and the World Cyber Games. With regards to FIFA Ultimate Team Ty is a FUT15 Gfinity Play Like a Legend Quarter Finalist and Season 2 Runner up, in FUT17 so far he has placed consistently in the Top 20 Xbox players each month, achieving his first 40/40 in January 2017.

I have to give a massive shout to both Dan & Ruan for the fantastic opportunity, it's going to be a very exciting year ahead for everyone involved! You're going to be seeing me compete both online and offline throughout the year under the FUTWIZ name and also provide content with FUT Champions rewards and gameplay on YouTube, I'm also going to get back to streaming on Twitch so look out for that. But again, massive thanks to FUTWIZ and I hope to add even more success to the team!”

“We’re delighted to be able to finally announce Team FUTWIZ and even more so with Ty as our first player – I’ve known Ty for a very long time and his combination of world-class skill and experience meant that he was the first person on the list when we were identifying potential players and the perfect person to lead our team. On a personal level I’m excited to get back into eSports, having been a competitive FIFA player myself before FUTWIZ was formed it’s been something that Ruan and I have often discussed, it was always a long term goal of ours so we’re thrilled to be able to finally achieve it! We’ll be doing all we can to support Ty in both online and offline tournaments and look forward to following his progress.”
