Let’s discuss Premier League POTM for June.
Another restart month in Top-5 League. Premier League came back with a bang, Liverpool was crowned as champions and few clubs performed really well.
For example Manchester United – Bruno Fernandes is very influential player for them and had a very good month.
Apart from him – Danny Ings still carried Southampton, KDB, even in defeat was at his best, Saint Maximin started playing at very high level, Everton performed nicely too.
A lot to discuss, and a lot of candidates.
Let’s start.
Bruno Fernandes
My 1st candidate for POTM. Bruno scored 3 goals in June, with average rating of 8.04. Game vs Brighton manipulated stats a bit, but game still happened in June, so it doesn’t matter.
Bruno played well in every game for United and it’s a good sign for their fans in race for UCL spot.
Chances of POTM: 21%
Tips for investing:
91 rated Bruno POTM would be quite useless, honestly speaking. We can obtain his 91, 92 and 94 rated cards for just playing the game, so I wouldn’t invest in this card
Estimated Cost: ? No idea. Shouldn’t be worth more than cheapest 91 rated card due to free cards available. If they make it 95 – it’s another question.
KDB is my 2nd candidate from Premier League. Manchester City did lose a game vs Chelsea, but nonetheless KDB played well in it. He had an insane performance vs Arsenal and to be honest, it’s a bit strange that we haven’t had KDB POTM card this FIFA with how consistent he was.
Chances of POTM: 20%
Tips for investing:
97 rated KDB would’ve been quite interesting, because he wouldn’t be so expensive as his TOTY\TOTS, but still at end-game level. Fodder at it cheapest during rewards, as usual
Estimated cost: 400-500k? My take would be around 450k, because his previous 96 rated card is around 350k. This would be an insane SBC, even in July.
Danny Ings is my 3rd candidate. Another great month for Danny Ings, 3 goals, 1 assist, 2 wins and 1 loss for Southampton. Very good month for Saints, who probably secured their spot in Premier league for next season.
Estimated cost: 50k. Not so exciting here. 87 rated card – people wouldn’t be interested in him, especially when we got 93 rated TOTS Moments card already. Danny deserves it, but he probably won’t win it
Chances of POTM: 20%
Another candidate is Allan Saint-Maximin. Even if we exclude his insane game vs Bournemouth, because it happened on 1st of July, so it doesn’t count – he had a great month with 1 goal and good performances. A lot of people like him and he can win the vote, also people love his UT card, it fits the meta.
Estimated cost: 150k. His latest IF is around 90k, so 88 card would’ve been around 150k price. Compared to 5\5 Birthday card it’s much cheaper option for other wing because of “only” 4* WF, but still a very good card.
Chances of POTM: 20%
Few other candidates: Michael Keane from Everton with solid month with 1 winning goal and high average rating and Raul Jimenez with 2 goals in 2 games.
My prediction: Saint-Maximin. I think he wins it, no joke. Few reasons – People don’t need 91 rated Bruno, KDB might not be nominated, while Saint Maximin checks every box: Popular, had a good month, actually deserves it.
Of course it’s only my prediction, so don’t get me too serious.
