Hello and welcome to Headliners Predictions.

This is one of my favorite promos of the year, even though people seem not to like it that much.

Let’s hope after these predictions you’ll be more excited towards the promo.

Rules of Headliners:
- Players with Dynamic cards (like RTTF or OTW) can’t get Headliners. So no Ben Yedder, Lukaku, etc.
- Players must have an IF or TOTGS card to be eligible for Headliners Promo
- Players with TOTY cards can’t get in: so no Mane, Trent, Robertson, etc.
- Players with base card of 90+ rated base cards can’t get in, so no to Neymar.

So, we got this out of the way, let’s discuss some headliners of the season so far.

It’s gonna be heavy PL\Serie A predictions, because players from those leagues mostly get IFs.

I really wanted to include more La Liga players, but I’ve checked and there are only few players that qualify for Headliners. So my choice is Varane. From Real Madrid we can see Benzema, but Varane is just on another level this year. After a bit slow season he’s back to his best and also 2 IFs help his case. Also Martin Odegaard deserves to be here, but I think he’ll get Future Stars some day later.

Now, let’s move to Ligue 1. From PSG I’ve chosen Keylor Navas, as I think he performs amazingly for Paris club. PSG comfortably sitting first and as Mbappe and Neymar don’t qualify for Headliners – Keylor Navas would be my choice.

Alexander Golovin from Monaco is my 2nd Ligue 1 choice. Russian plays really well for Monaco after rough first season. It seems like he settled pretty well in France and I’m happy for him. As Ben Yedder isn’t eligible for promo – Golovin would be my choice.

3rd player is Dimitry Payet. Marseille having a great season and Payet is headliner of the season in Ligue 1. He’s back to his best with Andre Villas-Boas coaching, playing at Left wing mostly (sadly for FUT).

I also have to mention few smaller leagues before going for big 3.

From Liga Nos I’ve chosen Alex Telles and Pizzi. Telles having a good season for Porto like he always does, scoring and assisting from LB position, while Pizzi is just smashing it for Benfica another year.

From Eredivisie at first I wanted to choose 2 players: Andre Onana and Steven Bergwijn, but at last second I decided against Bergwijn, just because his form dipped a bit. Onana would be my choice from Ajax, as Neres and Promes have live cards, Ziyech is kinda weird with Moments card and Dailey Blind isn’t that… good for FUT:D Onana having a nice season and he’ll probably get a huge winter upgrade, so I see it as an absolute win.

Moving on to Bundesliga: Phillip Max, Marcus Thuram, Timo Werner and Robert Lewangolski. I meant Lewandowski. 2 pretty obvious choices in a face of Lewa (god bless his 89 base card and not being 90 rated) and Werner. 2 highest goals scorers in the league and both deserve it.

Marcus Thuram can be qualified for FUT Future Stars, but I’ve chosen him for Headliners, as Borussia M’gladbach deserves some love for being 2nd in the table.

From Serie A I’ve chosen loads of players. There are many highlights from the league, so let’s try to name most of them: Theo Hernandez having a good season in Milan and he’s probably the best player of Milan right now, Chris Smalling deserves Headliners as he’s been one of the better CBs in Serie A and he missed on few Special Cards already.

Luis Alberto is my choice from 3rd place Lazio. Immobile would be my main choice, but… he has pointless RTTF card, so he’s not eligible sadly. Radja Nainggolan is his partner in midfield. Smashing it in Cagliari and that’s very good sign for FUT users.

And from attack I have Lautaro Martinez and Josip Ilicic. Lautaro having a break-out year for Inter, but he also eligible for Future Stars, so he might miss out. But someone from Inter is a must in my eyes. Also same can be said about Atalanta and Ilicic deserves it, as he plays so well for them.

Well, last but not least: Premier League. Liverpool, City, Leicester and Wolves are represented in my team, so yeah. From Liverpool there are only few choices that are possible, so it’s between Firmino and Wijnaldum in my eyes. I’d go for Firmino, as he probably has more chances of upgrades.

From Leicester I chose 2 players: Wilfred Ndidi and James Maddison. Both qualify for Future Stars, so I can see one of them missing out and Chilwell or Vardy getting Headliner card instead of someone.

From City it was a choice between Kyle Walker and Gabriel Jesus. Walker is a defender and I’m kinda lacking defenders in my team, so I went with Walker.

And from Wolves – haunting City – Adama Traore. Breakthrough year for him, Fan favorite, dribbling machine, looking like WWE fighter – Adama himself.

So this is all. This is my Headliners predictions, I hope I got you little bit hyped and excited towards the promo and I hope we’ll get something close to this on Friday.
