We’re starting one of the most exciting periods in FUT, sun comes out and stays longer every day, every football fan expecting nice run-in till the end of the season for their team and Ultimate Team brings us TOTS Cards.
This article will be about Frauen Bundesliga. One of the best budget cards came out from this league last season in a face of Georgia Stanway, let’s repeat it this year too. Bayern won the league, convincingly, best team in the league, Wolfsburg and Eintracht challenging for 2nd spot. All these 3 teams should get most of the players in TOTS.
Overall, picking these players were hard, but let’s hope I’ll do good and we’ll continue this trend.
First challenge that I have is picking goalkeeper. Overall, I decided for a Frankfurt GK: Stina Johannes. She conceded more goals than Bayern or Wolfsburg goalkeepers, but kept way more clean sheets. She kept 10 clean sheets in 20 games, that’s why she’s my choice.
Next up, I have defenders. And most of them will be from Bayern. They had the best defense and overall more standout players. We are starting with Gloris Viggosdottir, who scored 2 goals, assisted 2 goals, had the best passing % of the league and overall one of the best players. To partner her I have Marina Hegering from Wolfsburg, at first I had Eriksson from Bayern, but saw that she played in half of the games and went with Wolfsburg veteran that got few goals and assists and overall had a solid season. As I’ve said – both Wolfsburg and Bayern conceded the least.
At Right Back I have 2 options: Gwinn and Wilms. Julia Gwinn already got few cards that are very good: she got Ballon D’or one and also TOTY nominee. Overall, very solid season, especially in defense, she’s very popular so she should be in. Lynn Wilms from Wolfsburg had a massive impact with 3 goals and 3 assists from RB position and should be also considered for TOTS.
At left-back I have Caroline Simon from Bayern. 3 goals and 3 assists, best LB in the league by far and she doesn’t even have the competition on paper for that spot.
Then, we move to midfield and that’s where Stanway magic happens. 5 goals and 3 assists in 12 games. Despite not playing that much, she should be in without a doubt. Other than her I have Geraldine Reuteler from Eintracht. She got 9 goals and 6 assists from CM spot and she’s currently one of the best players in the league.
On the left – easiest pick: Klara Buhl with 7 goals and 12 assists in 20 games. Like there are few options, but she should be in always in TOTS. On the right (or middle) – I have Svenja Huth from Wolfsburg. Another veteran from Wolfsburg got 1 goal and 6 assists this season and should probably take bench spot.
Starting spot goes to Lineth Beerensteyn from Wolfsburg. Fantastic year from her, great output with 17 goals and 1 assist in 20 games and one fast card in FUT.
I nearly forgot about Pernille Harder. She often played as 10, but also as a striker, she will be in TOTS with 13 goals and 5 assists in 20 games.
Now, speaking about strikers we move to them. A lot of options, but first, always will be Laura Freigang from Frankfurt: 14 goals and 5 assists in those 20 games. Absolute MVP for Frankfurt and should be one fantastic TOTS, considering she had 2 IFs this year.
On the bench I have Selina Cerci from Hoffenheim. Not your usual team, but I should include a player who got in 5th best team in the league 12 goals and 3 assists in 17 games. Yeah, records aren’t as good in French League, but still very impressive.
Nicole Anyomi to partner Laura Freigang in attack from Frankfurt, but also to finish our TOTS with a player that got 11 goals and 5 assists in the same 20 games. She had TOTS last year and should get one this year too.
Overall, there are few more options at ST, but I’ve decided with these choices. Outside chance for Giovanna Hofmann with 11 goals and 5 assists for RB Leipzig, but they sit 8th in table.
We’ll see how it goes, but I hope we’ll get most of the players right and overall some cards should be fantastic.
