Hello and welcome to Liga F Player of the Month Predictions for October. I was surprised when I saw non-Barca player to win an award last month, but here we are. This month might be the same, even tho it’ll less likely.
Barcelona played 3 matches and obviously won them 3 of them with total score: 19-3. Yeah, 7-1, 8-1,4-1 wins. Easy peasy, but let’s see who actually performed the best for them. Pajor scored 4 goals and got 1 assist, Pina scored 2 goals and got 2 assists, Putellas got 3 goals and 1 assist. Overall, very hard to find 1 player, but I think it’ll be Pina. She already has RTTK card and it’d be cool to see 85\87 rated POTM for her. Her NIF worth not a lot, but her RTTK is around 300k. I expect POTM to be around 150k with some nice playstyles and positions on the pitch.
One player from 2nd placed Real Madrid that performed in most of the games is Signe Bruun. She scored only goal in a game vs Madrid CCF in 1-0 win and 1 assist in 1-1 draw against Atletico Madrid. Her base card is very average, but if she wins POTM she might be usable. 84 rated card, that would be worth around 20k at max, not going to fake pump it even even.
Hard to find players from 3rd place Atletico Madrid. Funny how table reflect La Liga table with 1st being Barca, 2nd being Real Madrid and 3rd being Atletico Madrid. I’d go with Rosa Otermin, who was MOTM in 2-0 win over Atlethic Bilbao and scored 1 goal in 1-0 win over Real Sociedad. Also kept CS and would be fun squad option at LB. 84 rated card with some nice stats and also cheap.
Another player from 4th placed Levante, that went unbeaten this month with 2 wins and a draw – would be Macarena Portales Nieto. She performed the best in 2\3 games, scored only 1 winning goal against Deportivo Abanca and was named MOTM in 0-0 draw vs Granadilla. Her base card is decent 76 winger and with some upgrades – she can be really usable, 84 rated card with some big pace and good shooting stats and nice Playstyles.
And the last player is Manuela Vanegas from Real Sociedad. They won 2\3 games, Vanegas kept 2\3 CS and scored in 2\3 games. Was also highest rated in a loss against Atletico Madrid. Pretty easy nomination and can be hidden favorite. Her NIF is 82 rated card with some great pace, defending and physical and with small upgrade on POTM to 84\86 card – it can be really good and usable (despite her height). Still, don’t expect it to be more than 40k card.
I think Barcelona player still should win it, but as we saw – it’s not an exception for them to lose on an award. We’ll see, but I won’t be surprised if Vanegas will win an award.
