A solid 12/18 last week after a two week absence, I'm confident we'll be safely in double figures this week too!

Rather fitting that, seeing as it's transfer deadline day today (in England at least), that some of the standout players in this week's prediction are newly transferred. The first of which is Nani, who scored both of Fenerbahce's goals, including a 90th minute winner, to send his side top of the Turkish Super Lig after 3 matches. Andre Ayew, who recently joined Swansea from Marseille, continued his fantastic start for the Welsh side by registering a goal and an assist as the Swans beat big spenders Manchester United and finally, we have Roberto Soldado, who well and truly put his North London nightmare behind him after scoring once and assisting two more as Villarreal left it late to overcome Espanyol in La Liga.

This week's other standouts include Diego Godin who was excellent as Atleti stated their intentions this season with an impressive win in Seville, James Rodriguez who scored two outstanding goals for the other big side in Madrid who also stated their intentions with a comfortable 5-0 home win. Finally, Miralem Pjanic, who scored a 61st minute goal and was named as the MOTM as Roma inflicted upon Juventus their 2nd defeat in a row and leaving the reigning champions 17th in the table!
