17 out of 23 last week is a score I'm very pleased with, let's hope we can continue that type of form in this week's Premier League-less Team of the Week!

Can anyone rivals PSG?

Given they’re 24 points clear, undefeated and have a goal difference of +48, it doesn’t appear that way does it? Kevin Trapp has had some disastrous performances since joining Les Parisiens, however his performance against Saint Etienne at the weekend has to be one of his best. He made three huge saves in a 2-0 victory and was commanding throughout; his performance earned him a spot in L’Equipe’s Ligue 1 Team of the Week. Meanwhile, the Paris club’s closest rivals went head to head. Moneybags AS Monaco and newly promoted Angers SCO met at the Stade Jean-Bouin and it was the new boys who came out on top, with midfielder Cheikh Ndoye scoring twice and assisting another in an impressive 3-0 win for Angers.

A two horse race in Serie A

Can anyone stop Napoli from scoring? In their last four Serie A games, they’ve scored five, four, three and five. Whilst the likes of Gonzalo Higuain and Lorenzo Insigne may make the headlines, winger Jose Callejon has been a key part of Napoli’s success. The Spaniard and former Real Madrid player scored twice on Sunday in a 5-1 win over Empoli; a win which leaves Napoli on 50 points. Close behind them of course though are Juventus. The reigning champions registered a convincing 4-0 away victory in Verona over Chievo, mainly down to the performances of Paul Pogba and Alvaro Morata. The Frenchman was outstanding throughout and also scored once and assisted another, whilst Morata, another former Real Madrid player, scored twice.
