How to do the German Cross

Learn one of the best ways to score

The German cross is one of the most effective ways to score in EA FC 24. Most pro players abuse it and it helps to get them better results. FUTWIZ pro player Ethan is going to show what German Cross is and will show examples of him conceding and scoring it.

German cross starts with triggering a run of your center midfielder or your center back around, when you’re in possession.

Then get a ball to your full back and cross it just before they get into a box.

It’s very hard to defend and even better players often concede to it on EA FC24. Even in this example, Ethan concedes one to Van der Ven header. He out jumped Varane, even though Varane was in a better position. Ethan didn’t defend too badly, but still conceded. Now imagine what you can do with it vs worse players.

Now we’ll cover an example, where Ethan scores one. In this example, he takes a ball to center midfielder and then presses L1+X (if you’re on PS) or LB+A (if you’re on Xbox) and gives a ball to a full back.

Then he just holds a ball with full back, waiting for Valverde to run in a box and presses Square (if you’re on PS) or X (if you’re on Xbox).

And as you can see, Valverde gets a free header and scores. To score he just presses the “shoot” button.

Nothing really complicated, once you get a ball with your center midfielder, pass it to your fullback with L1+pass\LB+pass and wait until your CM gets into the box and crosses it. It might take some practice, so you can test in friendlies or squad battles. It's a simple, but very effective way of scoring in EAFC 24.

With that tutorial we hope you’ll find some new ways of scoring goals. The German cross became a staple in the community back in FUT 23, but in EAFC 24 it’s still a simple, but effective way of scoring.
