Hello once again. It’s me, it’s TOTS Predictions and it’s my home league. Let’s do this.
Today I’m making a TOTS predictions on Russian league. It’s my home league and I think we’ll get an amazing TOTS! Really cool cards, that will be probably get used a lot(at least some of them).
Before I start, let me say this: We don’t score a lot of goals in our league and we have only 30 games to play compared to other leagues, so numbers might be lower than in other leagues.
So, let’s start, as always, with goalkeepers.
Aleksandr Belenov from Ufa is the first choice in my team. Ufa is having an amazing season and whole their defence performing really nice, but Belenov is just on another level. Few MOTMs help his case.
2nd choice is really tough one. I have 3gk in my mind who can take spot: Lunev from Zenit, Akinfeev from CSKA and Guilherme from Lokomotiv. Loko will get more recognition later in TOTS, but Akinfeev is probably the best choice out of 3 GK. He still performs great from game to game, even with bad defence.
Goalkeepers are probably the easiest choice in my TOTS, so we move on to defenders.
Left-back is clearly Domenico Criscito. Captain of Zenit playing last season in Russian League. He still performs great with 3 goals, 2 assists, 3 MOTMs to his name. Clearly getting TOTS and gonna be a really nice card.
Centre-backs are really hard. 1 clear choice is Saba Kverkveliafrom Lokomotiv. He’s having an amazing season in Loko, the manager gives him confidence and he proofs himself really well overall. He scored 2 goals, got 3 MOTMs and he’s just really good. His FUT card gonna be really interesting and you’ll see why on the picture of the team.
2nd starting CB is again Andreas Granqvist. It’s his last year in the Russian league and he, similar to Criscito, performs well. 1 goal, 2 assist, 2 MOTMs and really high average rating from game to game.
Sub CBs are hard. There are 2 defenders, who got injured in the season but still played more than a half of the matches, that’s why I include both of them:
Giorgi Dzhikiya and Emanuel Mammana. Both are really important to their teams and their injuries aren’t helping their teams. But when they played- they played amazingly well(esp. Dzhikiya).
Right back position is quite good too. Mario Fernandes getting that starting spot, while Andrey Eshchenko getting sub spot.
Both are important to their squads. Fernandes performs amazingly in Russian League and he deserves a transfer to a bigger league.
Eshchenko improved his game massively and playing greatly in Spartak shirt.
Defenders are picked, so let’s move on to really interesting selection of players: Midfielders.
There are 3 CDMs in the league, who are really good.
First one is Leandro Paredes, 2nd is Fernando and 3rd is Igor Denisov. In my mind- all 3 deserve that TOTS card and all 3 of them should get it and it’ll be awesome cards.
Paredes registered 3 goals and 2 assists and one of the best average ratings in the league.
Fernando is currently on 5 goals and 1 assist. He has really good freekicks and overall controlling games from CDM position on his own.
Igor Denisov is the best Russian player who is not called up to the national squad due to our manager. It’s sad because Denisov is awesome. His transfer helped Loko really much and their current 1st spot is because of him.
Alexandr Golovin is currently superstar of our league. He’s playing CM position in CSKA and performs just amazingly. He’s rumoured getting a transfer to Arsenal and he’s showing that he wants it. 4 goals and 2 assists and pure awesomeness from him on the pitch.
Daler Kuzyaev from Zenit is a highlight to Zenit average season. Kuzyaev is an unknown player who became an amazing central midfielder being played everywhere on the pitch by Mancini. 4 goals and 2 assists from him too.
Manuel Fernandes from Loko. He played everywhere from LW to CDM position and he deserves TOTS as CM card. Being played there more than anywhere. 7 goals+ 4 assists and probably the best player in the league this season.
Anton Miranchuk is one of Miranchuk brothers and they both should get it. One from CAM position, another one from CF.
Anton is currently on 2 goals+ 5 assists and playing really good from match to match. Even if when he comes on as substitution- he performs great.
Alexey is CF he’s having the best season of his life with 7 goals and 2 assists. Again, he played everywhere on the pitch, because of Loko system.
Let’s cover only 2 wingers that I have in my mind in this TOTS. Yeah, wingers in Russian league sucks.
Viktor Claesson from Krasnodar is a really cool player, he’s having an amazing season with 7+6. He’s probably more important to Krasnodar than the player I’ll talk about later.
On the left side, I have, of course, Quincy Promes. Another awesome season from Netherlands international, even on the different wing. 10 goals and 7 assists. The best ratio in our predictions.
And the last few picks are strikers! Really awesome candidates and cool picks in term of FUT.
FedorSmolov is getting yet again another TOTS. 12 goals and 2 assists and again, Russian best striker. He wants that transfer to some different team and he shows that he deserves it.
Luiz Adriano from Spartak. 9 goals and 6 assists. Improved his game massively this year and deserved TOTS card.
Jefferson Farfan from Loko. He played a lot of games on RM spot, but probably his TOTS would be better suited as ST, due to most games played there. 8 goals and 3 assists and at his age, it’s really impressive!
Aleksandr Kokorin started this year amazingly well and then Mancini started doing strange things to his position, but still, he scored 10 goals and registered 3 assists and will get ST position in my TOTS.
And the last and it’s clearly wild-card pick is Vitinho. Just for FUT fans. He scored 8 goals and registered 3 assists, but still. His season is not the best and expect him not to get TOTS. It might happen, it might not.
In my mind it's gonna be one of the best TOTS for bottom leagues, but expect few wild-cards here and there as EA often include players from lower teams.
