Hey guys, it’s Tillian once again. Back with Marquee Matchups predictions. I just dunno about some picks in recent MMs, but let’s do this anyway!:D
Only 2 out of 4 matches last week, but the choices were even stranger. Let’s do much better this week!
Tier 1: Very likely matches:
vs 
Real Madrid vs Barca
Should I say more than the title says? El Clasico. Should be in MMs, no matter what
Most likely requirements:
-2 players from each club
-Team overall 82+
-Overall Chemistry 90+
-At least 5 rares
-5 players from Liga Santander
What to invest in: Vasquez probably the best option. But every player from both teams should rise a lot
Worth investing? It’s worth investing, cause you can always sell on hype and make some coins
vs 
Juventus vs Roma
Top clubs fighting each other. Juve currently sitting at 3rd place, while Roma at 4th. Many things can change, but this match should be in MMs.
Most likely requirements:
-2 players combined from both teams
-Overall rating of 78
-3 Italian players
-90 Chemistry
-5 or more players from Calcio A
What to invest in: Any cheap players from those team. Every player is cheap so you have a lot of players to choose from:D
Worth investing?: I think yes! It’ll cause a lot of hype and players should rise no matter what.
Tier 2. Medium matches.
vs 
Melbourne City vs Melbourne Victory.
Melbourne derby in A-League. Those are interesting to watch and it’s really a “Marquee Matchup”. Should be in MMs, but I dunno, we haven’t got 1 Aussie match for a long-long time.
Most likely requirements:
-1 player from each team
-Overall rating of 63
-3 A-League Players
-4 Australian players
-95 chemistry
What to invest in: Cheap discard players.
Worth investing?: Yes, a bit. Fornaroli is a good choice, like a few month ago.
vs 
Celtic vs Patrick Thistle
Glasgow derby. Really not sure about this one. But looks like: “you don’t expect this one to be in MMs, but it will be in them” match.
Most likely requirements:
-1 player from each teams
-Overall rating of 67
-6 players from Scottish league
-4 Scottish players
-90 Chemistry
What to invest in: Quicksell golds and few players from Celtic, including some fullbacks.
Worth investing? I dunno- a bit of buying of few discard Celtic players should work anyway.
Tier 3. Least expected matches.
vs 
Bari vs Parma
1st place vs 2nd place in Calcio B. I don’t know if you can count it as Marquee Matchup- but it’s an important match.
Most likely requirements
-2 players from both teams
-Overall rating of 60
-6 players from Calcio B
-4 Italian players
-90 chemistry
What to invest in: Few discard silvers
Worth investing? As I said: Not a lot of hype on this match, but it’s one of the reasons EA can chose it. So a bit of investing can work!
vs 
Wigan vs Shrewsbury
Same as Bari vs Parma. 1st vs 2nd. Same- I can’t tell for sure- if there will be any hype to this match, but again- important game
Most likely requirements:
-1 player from each team
-Overall rating of 65
-90 chemistry
-4 English players
What to invest in: Players from both teams, but don’t bid higher than 500 coins.
Worth investing: Hard one. Not more than 5k.
vs 
Everton vs Chelsea
Another unexpected match in Premier League can happen- and if I’d choose one- it’d be this one.
Most likely requirements:
-1 player from each team
-Overall rating of 78
-90 chemistry
-3 English Players
-2 rares
What to invest in: Players from both teams. Full backs, and like every cheap player
Worth investing: PL game? Better skip this one
vs 
Deportivo vs Celta Vigo
Derby “O Noso”. Can happen, but more likely to be El Classico than this one
Most likely requirements:
-1 player from each team
-Overall rating of 75
-90 chemistry
-3 Spanish Players
-2 rares
What to invest in: Players from both teams. Discard ones, if there’s anyone left with League SBC
Worth investing: Few games from La Liga that might be included in MMs, so yes- a bit. Players should rise no matter what
I covered a bit more this time. 9 matches total. As you can see- not so many derbies, but there are few that can be chosen for MMs.
