Managed 15/23 last week which is a reasonable start to the year - gunna be interesting to see if we can better that total in Week 2!
Winging it
It’s safe to say that some of the star individuals in the upcoming TOTW will be based on the flanks. Lets start with Frenchman Franck Ribery who has begun this season on fire. Bayern played two games over the past week and Ribery was involved in both, scoring in midweek against Hertha Berlin, before coming off the bench and producing a match winning performance against Hamburger SV which should earn him a spot in the upcoming TOTW. Nani meanwhile was outstanding for Valencia over the weekend; Los Che finally seem to be getting going and the Portuguese “skiller” was at the heart of their 2-1 win over Leganes. Finally, Tottenham’s Heung-Min Son is another who’s having a fantastic start to the season. Spurs made the long trip up to Middlesbrough and came home with all 3 points, thanks to a brace from the South Korean.
Position changes
Some of you might open the squad in the link below and think “Hang on, half of these positions are wrong?!” Unfortunately I’m not able to currently update positions when creating the squads, however the list below is correct. For example, both Sergi Roberto and James Milner are midfielders in the squad, however would be released at right-back and left-back respectively if they were to be included. The former was outstanding in Barcelona’s 5-0 drubbing of Sporting Gijon, whilst the latter scored twice from the spot and was fantastic overall as Liverpool also netted five times.
Enjoy Folks! #PACKPARTY
