A Great British TOTW?
When was the last time we had representatives from England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland all in the same international TOTW? Because I certainly can't remember it. From England, Ross Barkley. The young Everton midfielder put in two fantastic performances for the three Lions over the past week, registering an assist against Estonia, and scoring a lovely goal against Lithuania. Secondly, from north of the border, Steven Fletcher. The Scots, of course, unfortantely haven't qualfied for the Euros in France next year, however striker Steven Fletcher still netted a hattrick against minnows Gibraltar. It's been party time in both Wales and Northern Ireland over the past week; Aaron Ramsey was fantastic against Andorra, picking up a goal and an assist, whilst Steven Davis scored twice for Northern Ireland against a woefully under performing Greece side to secure their spot in next year's competition.

You might think Spain having three represtatives in this week's squad is a tad overkill. And you're right; on any normal week, I would never select all three Spaniards, however all three were outstanding and there were no better options. Simple as that. David De Gea for starers made 10 saves against Ukraine, whilst the other two scored two a-piece in a 4-0 win over Luxembourg. Manuel Neuer joins them after a man of the match performance against Georgia, whilst Joao Moutinho scored two in two to secure Portugal's place in Europe's number one international competition.
