Another decent score last week with 12/18 and, without wanting to sound arrogant, I'm pretty confident I should be able to carry our form into this week too!
We may be struggling in Europe, but...
I still believe that the Barclays Premier League is the most exciting top league in World football. I said most exciting, not best... regardless, what a weekend of football we were treated to! We had Southampton trouncing a Chelsea side which put in another dire performance. Virgil Van Dijk and Graziano Pelle were two outstanding performers for the Saints; I've opted to include wide-man Sadio Mane in my prediction though. Sergio Aguero then decided to see how close he could get to Lewandowski's five goals in nine minutes. He didn't quite make it - he got close, mind - I suppose five goals in little over 20 minutes is a good day at the office! What a player the little Argentinian is. If Alexis Sanchez wasn't in last week's TOTW, he'd most certainly be in this week's; however I've opted for Brazilian central defender Gabriel as an alternative after an early Arsenal blitz blew apart Manchester United. Christian Eriksen had a decent weekend too, scoring twice in Spurs' 2-2 draw with Swansea in South Wales.
3 penalty saves in 1 match?!
I found it hard to believe when I first saw people Tweeting about Jean Francois Gillet's performance for KV Mechelen at the weekend. Saving one penalty is a good day at the office for a goalkeeper. Saving two is exemplary. Saving three is straight up ridiculous. Dennis Praet, Stefano Okaka and Youri Tielemans were all thwarted by the former Torino shot-stopper whose incredible perfomance meant his side left Brussels with a draw. Incredible.
Can anyone stop Bayern Munich?
If Arsenal play like they did in the first 10 minutes or so against Manchester United, then they might have a chance of stopping the German giants, however the Bavarians currently look imperious. They swept aside Borussia Dortmund with ease and could be represented by any of three, maybe even four players in this week's prediction. I've opted for centre-back Jerome Boateng though, who restricted a previously fre scoring Dortmund side to just one goal, whilst also claiming two assists for himself; a rarity for a central defender. The potential upgrade his special item could receive also arguably makes him the best non-league centre-back on FIFA 16!
Enjoy Folks! #PACKPARTY
