Marquee Matchup predictions are back! This time we've got predictions for the games primarily on the 5th-7th of January
Last week was a strange one. EA did pick a PL game, but it wasn’t really expected match, but oh well. I got used to it.
Tier 1: Very likely matches:
vs 
Sevilla vs Betis
Seville derby. One of the hottest derbies in the world. Should be in, no matter what!
Most likely requirements:
-2 players from each club
-Team overall 76+
-Overall Chemistry 90+
-At least 3 rares
-5 players from Spanish League
What to invest to: Cheap golds from both clubs
Worth investing? Just yes. It is and it’s gonna make a few coins.
vs 
Arsenal – Chelsea.
London Derby. Huge match. One of the better ones in PL.
-2 players from both teams
-Overall rating of 80
-at least 4 English players
-at least 4 Premier league players
-90 chemistry
What to invest to: Cheap golds from those teams should work, as there’s a lot of choice for them
Worth investing? Imo no. Most of PL matches contain just 11 PL players and that’s enough to complete.

Benfica vs Sporting.
I included it 2 weeks ago by mistake, so I’ll just repeat myself here.It’s a huge rivalry in Portugal and this one is really important in Portugal, so I fully expect Lisboa Derby to be in MMs
Most likely requirements:
-2 players from both teams
-Overall rating of 76
-at least 4 Portugal players
-at least 4 Portugal league players
-90 chemistry
What to invest to: Cheap golds from those teams should work, as there’s a lot of choice for them
Worth investing? In my opinion yes, but not a lot. It’s a good match, but EA always throws a curve-ball, so they can exclude this game.
Tier 2. Medium matches

Newcastle Jets vs Central Coast\Sydney vs Newcastle.
2 big games in A-League, one of them is a derby and the second one is a six pointer up top of the table. One of those matches should be in.
Most likely requirements:
-2 players from both teams
-Overall rating of 63
-at least 4 Aussie players
-at least 4 Australian league players
-90 chemistry
What to invest to: Any players from Australian Newcastle.
Worth investing? Yes. It should work.
vs 
Spurs vs West Ham.
It’s a big PL match, so there is a chance of it being in MMs.
Most likely requirements:
-2 players from both teams
-Overall rating of 77
-at least 4 English players
-at least 4 Premier league players
-90 chemistry
What to invest to: Cheap golds from those teams should work.
Worth investing? PL? Naah.
Tier 3. Probably not.
There are a lot of cup games that I should probably count, but EA doesn’t count them.
I’ll just list them: If it happens...it happens, if notI was probably right
Spurs vs Wimbledon
Middlesbrough vs Sunderland (it’s Tees-Wear derby)
Brighton vs Crystal Palace: M23 derby
Liverpool vs Everton: Merseyside derby (Liverpool have just been in MMs so I think it’s impossible)
OGC Nice vs AS Monaco: Derby de la Cote d’Azur
Juventus vs Torino : Torino derby
It’s hard week to predict, because most of the leagues are on a break but I tried to cover every possible matchup however of course be ready for EA surprises.
