FIFA 17 Team of the Week Prediction: Week 27

Unfortunately last week was an average result, 14 out of 23. We go again. Can’t stop, won’t stop!

This week is gonna be a strange one. Really good starting 11, but subs are really average.

Leo Messi. Oh my. What he must do to get an IF from EA? 2 goals and 2 assists wasn’t enough last time, but this week is FUT Birthday and there will be packs. A lot of them. Maybe it’s his lucky week? I hope so.

Next up, Serie A. 2 out of the 5 most In Form players this year in real life are in Serie A. Lorenzo Insigne and Alejandro Gomez, both scored 2 goals, both led their teams to victory, both are amazing. Maybe it's not enough to get Third In Form? Maybe so! But there are not so much choice this week overall, so I decided to include them.

Next up is the English Premier League. Romelu Lukaku, what a striker he is this season, again with 2 goals (not so important tho) and 1 assist as Everton continue their amazing form in 2017. Another player who could get an in-form is Gary Cahill- though in my opinion he had quite a questionable game. He scored the winning goal and this should be enough for getting IF for a center back, but he had the similar stat like 2 month ago and didn’t get an IF, so it’s a big question mark. The last one is Craig Dawson, scored 2 goals vs Arsenal, one of the easiest choices this week.

Last but by no means least, the Bundesliga. This time no Bayern player (although there’s a chance we could see a Thomas Muller for his winning goal vs Borussia Monchenglabah). But there are plenty of other choices. At first we have Anthony Modeste, who is having the season of his life, 22 goals this season, 1 more than Robert Lewandowski and 1 less than Aubameyang - 3 goals vs Hertha Berlin guarantees his 2nd In Form this season (should be third, was robbed after scoring a hat-trick vs Hamburg). 2nd choice for me this week – Sead Kolasinac from Schalke 04, 1 goal and solid performance from one of the better players in Schalke 04. The other two picks: Zlatko Junuzovic: he and his Austrian friends from Werder Bremen demolished 2nd place RB Leipzig.
And finally Oliver Baumann - Solid game from German goalkeeper as he kept a clean sheet vs Bayer Leverkusen.
