FIFA 16 Team of the Week Prediction: Week 22

14/23, whilst not being the greatest scorer overall was the joint highest anyone managed last week; lets see if we'll remain top of the tree after this week!

It was my birthday last week…

I turned 20. No longer a teenager. Scary right? Even scarier when you see yourself shortlisting footballers that are months younger than you. A prime example of this is happening this week is the inclusion of Borussia Monchengladbach central defender Andreas Christensen in my prediction. On loan from Chelsea, the Dane scored twice in a 5-1 victory over Werder Bremen - at just 19! Just to rub salt in the wounds, he’s not the only Monchengladbach youngster in my prediction, as I’ve decided to opt for midfield sensation Mahmoud Dahoud after an exceptional performance in the aforementioned 5-1 victory. Fair enough, he is older than me by a month, but still…

PUSH THE BUTTON!

Mario Gomez is back from his winter break! Following a couple of poor and injury hit seasons at Fiorentina, the Italians sent him out on loan to Turkish side Besiktas and it appears to have been a good decision for all parties. Especially for Mari who, after 18 appearances in the Turkish Super Lig, has netted 15 times. His latest two goals came in a 4-0 win over Gaziantepsor, a win which leaves Besiktas two points off of top spot with two games in hand. Another Super Lig striker who could be in with a shot of a special item come Wednesday is Cameroonian legend Samuel Eto’o, who scored once and assisted another as he helped his side overcome the side that currently sit in first place, Fenerbahce.

Enjoy Folks! #PACKPARTY
