Welcome to Part 2 of FUTWIZ's FIFA 16 Player Ratings Prediction for the Barclays Premier League. In Part 1 we covered the champions Chelsea, Manchester City and Arsenal and the link that article can be found here. In Part 2 we shall be covering the red side of Manchester, Tottenham and Liverpool, as well as a squad consisting of the best of the remaining players from the Premier League.

Similar rules apply to that applied in Part 1:

  • The player's ratings are NOT official, they are just a prediction
  • The player's positions are NOT official, nor do they really mean anything
  • Whether a player is rare or non-rare is NOT official. Again, it doesn't really mean anything, so please don't get bogged down over something petty like if your favourite player is not a rare.
  • Player's face stats have NOT been adjusted and are NOT official.

Let's kick today's article off with big spenders Manchester United!

Manchester United

Schweinsteiger, Schneiderlin, Depay, Darmian and Romero. Not a bad selection of incoming players, especially given it's only July still! Starting off with the German, Bastian Schweinsteiger, who had an injury hit campaign for Bayern Munich last season before seeking a new challenge in Manchester. When he was fit, he generally played well, however it was not to the standard we're perhaps used to see from Bastian and for that reason I think he deserves a small downgrade, -1 or -2 depending on how he starts life at Manchester United. The opposite applies for fellow midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin, who did suffer a few injuries throughout the 2014/15 campaign, yet still played to a high standard and was a key man for the Saints, as ever. I feel he'll receive an 81 or an 82 in FIFA 16, perhaps even an 83, depending on how he settles in at Manchester United.Another individual who I'd expect to see receive an improved rating is Memphis Depay; 28 goals in all competitions for PSV last season certainly merits a major upgrade and I've given him a +3 on his player item from FUT 15.

Matteo Darmian perhaps has a false rating on FIFA 15, because he's set at a RM, as opposed to a RB where we expect he'll be playing for United. When moved to a RB, I'd expect the Italian's rating to range anywhere from 78-80. As for Sergio Romero, he made a mere 10 appearances for Sampdoria last season and I would therefore expect him to remain as silver, perhaps with a slight increase because of his move to a club of United's stature.

As for United's remaining players, I wouldn't expect any vast changes except one; David de Gea. What a season from the Spaniard and he easily merits a rating of 86, where he should be on par with Wayne Rooney and Angel di Maria. The former had another solid season, so I'd expect him to maintain his rating; the latter though, this might be controversial choice. The perhaps Paris bound Angel di Maria, for me, deserved an 87 after the 2013/14 season, so was underrated in the first place on the current FIFA. However, his rating will most certainly be looked at after a disappointing campaign and in some people's minds, he should be an 85, but in mine, I feel he should retain an 86 due to being underrated in the first place.

Tottenham Hotspur

How much of an upgrade is Harry Kane going to receive then? +10? +15? Well, I've given him +13 after an incredible season for Spurs, but giving him a rating anywhere between 78 and 81 would be fair. Christian Eriksen is another who could get a desirable upgrade; the Dane was a late goal and free kick specialist for Spurs last season and could see his rating bumped to an 84, even an 85 depending on how he starts the season. I would then expect the vast majority of Tottenham's remaining players to remain similarly rated; Lloris, Walker, new acquisition Alderweireld, Vertonghen, Chadli and Lamela I would all expect to receive a maximum upgrade or downgrade of just one.

Spurs may also have some new gold additions to their squad, with Danny Rose, Nabil Bentaleb and Ryan Mason all pushing for 75-76 ratings, however they may have to make do with some very high quality looking Silver items!

Liverpool

A disappointing season for the red half of Merseyside last time out, however they may still have some very desirable players come the start of FIFA 16. New additions to the squad Clyne and Benteke (Benteke will be in the "Best of the Rest" squad below) will all have very tasty looking FUT items with high ratings in both pace-wise and physically, especially after getting deserved upgrades. Brazilian Roberto Firmino may not have the FUT friendly stats of the previous two, however is another who should also receive a deserved upgrade and his link with Coutinho is one I'd expect a lot of FUT players to use. Philippe Coutinho was of course Liverpool's star man of the previous campaign - especially toward the tail end of the season where he became one of the best players in the league, and I'd expect to see him bumped to an 83 or an 84, depending on his position; tricky to work out whether he'll be a LW or a CAM.

The rest of Liverpool's squad, including Sturridge, Allen, Sakho, Skrtel and Mignolet, I would mainly expect to get downgrades of -1 or -2, bar Jordan Henderson who of course has the added bonus of being EA's new cover boy and should receive a small upgrade of the same amount.

Similar to the previous article, below are some other standout players from these 3 clubs that I didn't put in their respective XIs, however I feel are worthy of some recognition in this article for one reason or another - some of these silvers - wow!

Best of the Rest

I wasn't going to completely ignore the rest of the Premier League, so I've made a 23-man squad including players from the remaining sides. This squad includes some players that could be upgraded or even downgraded into some fantastic looking silver and gold items, some newly transferred players, as well as some players from the newly promoted teams Bournemouth, Watford and Norwich.
