Fantasy has made a return to Ultimate Team for FC24 and it’s back with a bang! In this promo, we will see cards get upgraded based on how the player and their club performs in real life. We’ve also seen return of Fantasy Heroes cards which can also be upgraded based on their chosen clubs’ performances.

Team 1 Release Date: Friday 23rd February

How the upgrades work

Cards are upgraded based on how the designated player and their club perform in real life over their next 4 domestic league games. If they meet the targets needed for an upgrade, they will receive 1 in-form upgrade (+1). Fantasy FC items are eligible for up to four upgrades, whereas Fantasy Heroes items are only eligible for two upgrades. Fantasy heroes will be upgrade based on how their chosen club performs. You will be able to find these chosen clubs by looking on the player details of these items and looking at their Hero Profile in-game.

Below is an explainer as to how upgrades are achieved:

Fantasy FC Items:

1st upgrade- 1 goal scored for attackers/midfielders OR 1 clean sheet for defenders/goalkeepers.

2nd upgrade- Club wins 2 of their next 4 domestic league games.
