How to do the Hocus Pocus

The Hocus Pocus is a skill move that you do not often see, this is due to a combination of things, one being that not many people know how to execute it and two the skill move itself being quite advanced.

What star skill moves does a player need to perform the skill?
The Hocus Pocus is a 5* skill move, meaning your player will need to have 5* skills in order to perform it. All 5 star skillers in FC 24

How to Perform the Hocus Pocus
These instructions are for a player who is facing towards the opposition goal when shooting from left to right

In order to perform the Hocus Pocus, you need to move your right stick backwards towards 9 o’clock, then rotate the right stick towards 12 o’clock going clockwise and then finish by moving the right stick all the way back down to 6 o’clock going counter clockwise, see the button combination below:

This skill can be performed when moving at a standard running speed, it cannot be performed when controlled sprinting or full sprinting.

When should you use the Hocus Pocus?
As mentioned earlier, this skill move is not used often, however if you want to use it the best time to use this can be when you are square on with a defender as when the skill move is executed it will shift the ball to the side of the defender very quickly and give you an angle to move in to.

Here is an a example of when to use the skill move, in this example you can see that the opponent has control of the defender and is approaching the ball carrier, by executing the hocus pocus it performs a quick shift to the defenders side and will give you space to attack.

Overall this skill move is more for visual effect than for actual in game effect as there are a lot of more effective skill move available which can create better space.
