The best way to use Ball Roll

In this tutorial pro player “FUTWIZ Dylan” is going to show us how to make the most of probably the most used skill in FC 24 and in previous iterations of the game, the Ball Roll.

How to perform the Ball Roll
This is the part that won’t need too much practice as to perform the ball roll you only need 2 star skill moves and to point your right stick in the direction you want to ball roll

If your player is moving right to left on the pitch you will need to point your right stick upwards to ball roll the left or downwards to ball roll to the right.

Where to use the Ball Roll
You should mainly use the ball roll to regain control of the ball after sprinting and looking to cut inside looking to create new passing angles or using it to set up a shot. You will see a popular way of scoring on FC 24 is by hitting a Trivela from the edge of the box which always comes from making use of the ball roll to create the space. You can also use this skill move to take the ball round the keeper in 1 on 1 situations as you will likely sit the keeper down and create a tap in for yourself.

In this example you can see De Bruyne sprinting out wide and Messi coming over looking for a nice and easy pass inside.

At this point De Bruyne is at full sprint and if he tries to just pass infield to Messi it will likely get intercepted or go astray.

As you can see here Dylan has now moved the ball inside and gained control of the football to make an easy pass to Messi to run at the defenders.

Following on from this example Dylan makes a move forward and again performs a ball roll inside followed by a driven pass to the strikers feet which leads to a goal.
