Ball Scoop FC 24 Tutorial

The ball roll scoop on EA FC 24 is one of the best skills to use on the wing to create the space to come back inside to create a chance for an easy goal. FUTWIZ pro player Stokes is going to take us through how to perform the skill and the best times to use it.

The first thing you need to know about the ball roll scoop is that it is a 5 star skill move so only 5 Star Skillers can perform it.

Let's learn the basics and the button combination to perform this skill. In this example we will be showing you how to ball roll scoop if your player is running left to right.

To start the skill you need to perform a ball roll, so if your player is running left to right you will need to point your right stick up or down whilst walking to perform the ball roll. To add the scoop to this you need to instantly fake shot (Square and X or Circle and X on PlayStation) (X and A or B and A on Xbox) and point your left stick up or down and your player should have completed the ball roll scoop.

The best way to practice this skill is by heading into the Arena and removing the AI defenders so you can get comfortable learning the ball roll scoop.

Once you have perfected the ball roll scoop in the arena it’s now time to take it in-game and use it to your advantage on the pitch. Starting with your player running down the wing and wanting to come back to cut inside.

As you can see here the ball roll scoop is going to leave the defender behind and has now given us the chance to look for a passing option in the box to create a chance at goal.

Another option with the ball roll scoop is to send the defender the wrong way in the box to instantly open up a shot on goal. As you enter the box from a central position you can perform a ball roll to make your opponent think you are going that way and come back the other way with the scoop to open up the space and look for the shot or pass across goal.

If you want to get technical with this skill and show off, you can also use it when you are 1 on 1 with the keeper to easily take it round him and in most cases will result in a tap in or with you being awarded a penalty after the keeper has lunged in for the ball.

This skill is incredibly popular and something you should definitely be looking to add to your game if you are looking to improve your results. After becoming comfortable with the button combinations it will become basic muscle memory to use this skill in the right positions on the pitch.
